The Details: Scott Stapp is the voice behind the chart-topping band Creed and for most of the nineties their songs dominated the airwaves. Songs like “My Sacrifice” and “Higher” spoke to their fans on many levels and their concerts often left you breathless. Today the future of Creed is in limbo based on the various projects on both sides of the fence but that makes it super awesome to find Scott performing in such an intimate setting as Irving Plaza doing songs from his latest solo effort “Proof Of Life” along with the expected Creed classics. Thanks to the fine folks at Livenation, PiercingMetal will be putting some of its lucky readers into this show. This tour is being supported by Like A Storm who a lot of fans like as well, so it’s a win, win concert situation all around. Read more on how to participate.
When and Where: April 2nd at Irving Plaza (17 Irving Place, NYC)
To Participate: Here is an easy one for you. Tell me three things you like about Scott’s music either solo or with the chart topping Creed and I will be picking from the submissions I like the most. Make it interesting and more than “because he rules” as that does NOT impress me at all. Be sure to submit your full name into the comment form along with a working email address as we shall need this for the list purposes. Bring me out of my own prison with your submission and let it take me higher ? sorry I could not resist.
Restrictions: All of the PiercingMetal contests are open to our loyal readers, Facebook Page likers and Twitter Followers but that being said we are still always looking for the newest names first so EVERYONE gets the chance to enjoy a show on the provider and our site. We never let on how many tickets we have so it’s always smart to submit something just in case it’s your lucky day. Based on the frequency of our contests we do keep track of the winner list but please be aware that if you had won something over the last couple of months of contests your chances are less likely for this one. Please note that “Guest” and “Anonymous” submissions are not eligible either.
