The Details: New York City Metal fans are going to get a “Wicked Sensation” when it comes to the appearance of the Lynch Mob next week at the venerated Times Square venue B.B. King Blues Club and Grill. If memory serves me correctly, it’s been a couple of years since the guys have dropped by to say some musical hellos and that makes me glad to announce this latest contest to see the show for free thanks to the powers that be at the venue. George Lynch is one of the best Metal guitarists that we have and with him paired up with original singer Oni Logan again this one is going to be great. Read below on how to participate.

When and Where: Monday, November 21st at B.B. King Blues Club 7:30pm (237 West 42nd Street NYC)

To Participate: There is so much going on in the Metal scene right now that demands my attention so I am going to go with the standard request that the interested give me three solid things about the band or its albums and past shows that stand out for them. Make it good stuff and not the whole “cuz they rule dude” because that is just not trying at all. Please note this is for a single ticket only and no plus one requests will be honored. Sorry to do that but hey if you win you can always help your friend pay for a ticket or buy them something to drink inside the venue (provided you are of age to do so). I’ll be selecting winners from the submissions and letting them know directly below their entry. Kindly review these guidelines.

– Enter only enter once. The comments are moderated and will not appear immediately after submission.
– Number them for ease of knowing if you followed the instructions or not if I’ve asked for a list.
– Please enter your full real name in the comment form along with an email address that you can be reached at if you win. This is necessary for listing purposes. Please do NOT put this information in the comment itself out of privacy concerns.
– Only enter if you can and will attend the show should you win and it’s logistically possible for you to do so. Essentially if you live a couple of hundred miles away we don’t think you’re coming here for a show in NYC.
– Subscribe to the comments and check back to see the responses so you know if you won or not.
– Make sure you are entering a NEW comment and not replying to another contestant’s entry as that makes notifying you difficult should you be marked as a winner.

Bring it on as this one will close by noon on day of show or when allotment has been depleted.

Restrictions: PiercingMetal.com contests are open to all of our regional site readers but we do look at new responders first in order to give everyone a fair shot at enjoying a show on the provider and us. We still encourage all to respond because you never know just how many tickets we are offering or when the most recent folks actually won if there is no one new. Please also be aware that Guest and Anonymous submissions while likely approved are not eligible to win. Winners of our recent King’s X contest do not qualify.

If You Win This Contest: If you are marked as one of the winners for this contest, here is how to claim the ticket. On the night of the show go to the venue podium and ask for the House Guest List. Please bring proper identification (driver’s license, passport, NYC ID card) and your name will be checked off that list for you to enter. If you encounter any difficulty, please politely ask for an onsite manager and cite how this contest was done in coordination with venue Marketing and PiercingMetal.com. You can also expect an email to the provided address reminding you of the win so make sure that @piercingmetal.com is listed as a safe domain to receive notes from.

  1. I have been a huge fan of George Lynch since Breaking the Chains.Lynch Mob came as a stronger bluesier answer to Dokken.Lynch Mob with Oni Logan has always been a great live.band since I first saw them at the Acedemy on the Wicked Sensation tour. I am excited to see this new tour with new drummer Jimmy Dando from The Bulletboys. Lynch is in a class of Edward Van Halen,Randy Rhoads, and Steve Via.

    1. This works for me Kevin, so congrats as you are going to see the Lynch Mob on Monday at B.B. King’s. Please refer to the section marked “If I Win This Contest” for the full details on how you claim it that night at the show.

  2. 1. Somehow I’ve only seen Lynch Mob live twice before, both at the M3 Festival (in 2012 and 2016). I realized what an amazing live band they are and how well they’ve held up over the years (especially compared to Dokken, who also played M3 in 2012 and gave the most underwhelming performance of the weekend). I’d love to see them in an intimate setting like B.B. King’s as opposed to a festival setting.

    2. “Wicked Sensation” is one of the most underrated “classic” albums of this genre. It always gets overlooked, maybe because it was released just after the ’80s ended, but that is 1 through 12 a great album with no filler.

    3. Perhaps more obscure as everyone will want to see Lynch and Oni Logan (for good reason), but I’m excited that Jimmy D’Anda of BulletBoys is the drummer! Speaking of underrated, if anyone had to replace Mick Brown, I’m glad it’s him.

    1. Wow Steve that is some good stuff and even cooler is how some people are giving props to the drummer. Congrats on winning a ticket to the show on Monday night at B.B. King’s. Please refer to the section marked “If I Win This Contest” for the full details on how you claim it that night at the show.

  3. Haven’t seen George since he played at the Cutting Room when it was on Broadway and 24th Street. Loved the first Dokken album, especially liked the song Tooth & Nail from album of the same name. His stuff for Lynch Mob was heavy, catchy guitar riff stuff like Wicked Sensation. Anyway he still looks you, play killer stuff, and chain smokes through the set, lol!

    1. Hey Ken, I don’t remember when that Cutting Room gig was but this makes me think that its been too long since you’ve seen him and the guys in action. Congrats on winning a ticket to see them on Monday night at B.B. King’s. Please refer to the section of the contest marked “If You Win This Contest” because it lines out the whole process on how to claim it that night.

  4. I am a huge fan of Dokken and George Lynch. I’ve never seen them live. I would really love to see them. A few of my favorite songs are Alone Again, Into the fire, and In my dreams.

    1. While we generally ask for a little bit more from our submissions I am going to look the other way since you have never seen them before and I want to fix that. Congrats Patricia, you have won a ticket for Lynch Mob on Monday at B.B. King’s. Please refer to the part of the contest marked “If You Win This Contest” for all of the necessary details to claim this the night of the show.

  5. 1) George Lynch is easily one of the best guitarist of all time in rock music. Definitely in my top 10. Weird how easily he is overlooked but when you mention his name, everyone says how great he is.

    2) When I first heard Lynch Mob I thought, “Wow. Finally George is in a band with a real singer.”

    3) Oni Logan is perhaps the most soulful singer in rock music. His voice is unequaled.

    1. Hey Kenn I agree with you 100% on these submissions. With that being said, how about we give you a ticket for the show on Monday. Please refer to the part of the contest marked “If You Win This Contest” for all of the necessary details.

  6. 1. Have never seen George Lynch live except for when he was in Dokken.

    2. The 1st Dokken album, Breaking The Chains, came out in Europe first in 1981 before the American release in 1983 and had 2 changes on it. One was a song called “We’re Illegal” which later became “Live To Rock”. The second is Paris Is Burning was just called Paris and was a studio version, not the live one featured on the American.

    3. Lynch’s first name was misspelled on the European version of the first album. It was spelled Georges Lynch.

    1. Wow John I cannot believe that you have never seen him outside of Dokken, its good stuff for sure. Thanks for the historical notations as well. Please enjoy a ticket on PiercingMetal.com for Monday night’s show at the great B.B. King Blues Club. Please refer to the part of the contest marked “If You Win This Contest” for all of the necessary details.

  7. 1. Never saw George Lynch play live back in the day with Dokken or Lynch Mob, long overdue….

    2. If I pull out an 80’s glam/hair metal album to listen to these days it is often Dokken or Ratt

    3. Specifically want to hear “Tangled In The Web” live, hope that made the set list

    1. Wow this sounds like something that needs fixing Anthony so congrats on winning one of our tickets to see Lynch Mob at B.B. King Blues Club on Monday. Please refer to the part of the contest marked “If You Win This Contest” for all of the necessary details.

  8. 1.I have never seen the original Dokken lineup but I got to see Lynch Mob once and it was amazing. I felt like it somewhat made up for me missing one of my favorite bands ever.
    2. I love Lynch Mob’s own music and the singer. People who don’t see them are missing out on a great experience all around.
    3. I had Wicked Sensation on cassette. That’s right, cassette!

    1. Dokken was terrific back in the day Helen but I think you will get a sufficient amount of their songs at the show because you are going to have a ticket for Lynch Mob at B.B. King Blues Club on Monday. Sadly our younger readers probably don’t know what you mean when you say “cassette” (sigh). Please refer to the part of the contest marked “If You Win This Contest” for all of the necessary details.

  9. Okay my Lynch Mob loving readers, that is going to bring us to the end of this contest so congratulations to all of our winners who were notified right below their submission. As I have stated before please refer to the part of the contest marked “If You Win This Contest” for all of the necessary details on how you claim this. It’s very straight-forward. I’ll be at the show as well so if you see me running around please feel free to say hello. Thanks again to all who submitted a comment.
