Win A Ticket For Kobra & The Lotus @ The Studio on 7/30/2014

The Details: Have you heard about Kobra and The Lotus yet? Man do I hope so because I am super impressed by the delivery of this incredible Metal Queen and have been fortunate enough to catch them twice in concert over the past year. As a front person, singer Kobra Paige puts out a presence that brings you into the set while the band thunders like a raging storm behind her. Currently the band is opening up for the mighty KISS who are on tour with a co-headlining Def Leppard, but they will be doing a show at The Studio at Webster Hall during one of the off nights on this tour. They’ll be dishing out the scorching tracks from their just released “High Priestess” album. Thanks to the folks in the venue marketing team, PiercingMetal is going to make a couple of diehards very, very happy. Read more.

When and Where: Wednesday, July 30th @ The Studio at Webster Hall (125 E 11th St, NYC)

To Participate: Since KATL is still rather new to a lot of Metal ears, I am going to make this an easy one. If you’ve seen them perform, tell me three reasons why you need to be at this show and if you have not done so, it’s the same thing as to why this needs to be your first go round. I will be picking a couple of the best submissions from the lot. Remember to put your full real name in the comment form along with an email address to reach you if you won. Do NOT put this in the comment itself out of privacy concerns and only enter once (any edits will not be honored – sorry). I will be letting winners know directly under their comment so it’s best to subscribe to them for the duration of this contest. Bring it on.

Restrictions: While all contests are open to our regional site readers, we look at new responders first in order to give everyone a fair shot at enjoying a show on the provider and us. Interested parties should still enter for good measure because you never know just how many tickets we are offering and when the last person might have won. Guest and Anonymous entries are not valid.

  1. Having seen Kobra and The Lotus before I would love to see them 1. Performing new material 2. Up close in this small venue. 3. Umm yeah Kobra Paige..enough said!

  2. Female fronted metal bands are hot. It’s getting boring with just dudes on stage.

Never saw Kobra and the Lotus, wanted to see them from the moment I found out about them [through the Welcome to My Funeral video]

Excited to see them play a full set, as headliners.

    1. Hey Daniel that works for me, and I totally agree with you. Seeing Kobra doing a full on set will be wonderful. Please stay tuned to comments for one from me that closes the contest and gives the details on how you claim this at the show.

  3. Wow, I only heard some samples, but this is definitely a band I need to check out. Kobra and The Lotus sounds like a modern day Doro/Warlock . I am a big fan of female rock/metal vocalists. It seems that only exceptional ones get thru compared to the men. Instrumentally this band seems to be very proficient too, unlike some of the more modern bands these days. Seeing them at this nice intimate venue would be awesome.

    1. Only a few samples? Samples!!! Mr. Stolper you need to be schooled then and you have won a ticket to see KATL at The Studio next Wednesday. Please stay tuned to these comments for one from me that closes up the contest and gives the details on how you claim it at the show.

  4. Alright my Metal Legions of the Night this contest is closed because I only had a couple of tickets to dole out. Congratulations to our two winners. Each of you has a single ticket to the show and should go to the venue box office that night (which at The Studio is downstairs as you go into the club) and ask for the House list. Your name will be there and should you encounter any difficulty, please politely ask for an onsite manager and cite how this contest was done in cooperation with the venue promotion team. This is going to be a good one and if you see me around please do say hello but make sure I am not otherwise occupied. Let’s Rock!
