My introduction for the first trailer sounded so good that I am using it once again for the second trailer, here we go. When I was growing up I wasn’t much of the video game kid. I did have a Colecovision system and a score of games never this one called “Rampage” which is what this upcoming 2018 film is based on. It stars “The Rock” and looks like it could be some quirky giant monster fun. Check out the second trailer below.
The Plot: Primatologist Davis Okoye (Dwayne Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, albino silverback gorilla who has been in his care most of its life. But a mysterious genetic experiment mutates this once gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered that a wolf (Ralph) and crocodile (Lizzie) have gone under similar changes. As these newly created apex predators battle each other for supremacy and tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer (Naomie Harris) to secure an antidote, fight his way through the ever-changing battlefield, and not only to halt a global catastrophe, but to save the fearsome beast that was once his friend. (thanks Wiki).

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’m going to stick with my viewpoint that this might be a lot of fun and anticipate it being like the classic “War Of The Gargantuas” film from eons ago. If you don’t know that one yet, look it up as its awesome (well, at least I thought so when I was a younger kid). Given the films opening around the time where I have a media mountain of things to do I am not yet sure I am seeing it in the theater early in its run or at all. Let’s see what happens. I do like the second trailer and feel this has some heart to it and I also enjoy The Rock in action hero roles. What did you readers think about this second trailer? Did it spark your interest a little more? If so you know what to do and where to say it.
