In 1998, authors Michael Moynihan and Didrik Søderlind composed a non-fiction book called “Lords Of Chaos: The Bloody Rise of the Satanic Metal Underground” and according to those who read it, the tome featured some truly shocking moments from Heavy Music history. The book was primarily about the band Mayhem and their formation and their continuing the build of the Black Metal genre. Now, a film about these times stands ready to be released and we have two teaser trailers that you can watch down below.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: So I’ve never managed to read the “Lords Of Chaos” book and with the film being released only a month from now, its highly unlikely that I will get to it before then. I do know a fair amount of the history in which this story originates from and will hope that we get a little longer trailer before the opening. I don’t generally speak much about teaser trailer clips but you can if you like down below. You can also order a copy of the blasphemous tome down below care of Amazon.com and enjoy a couple of ominous promotional posters. See you next time and OMG, thanks to a friend reminding me, the mighty Metallica used footage from the film in their video for “Man Unkind”. I posted that way back then and you can transport to the clip HERE.
