Vampires Everywhere Announce “The Ritual Tour” For Winter 2016

Yesterday I got a cool press release announcing a new touring endeavor along with new music from the band Vampires Everywhere now for those who lost track of the band, it was a back around 2012 when they changed their sound from a Post Hardcore type of group to a crushing Industrial Metal effort. After some lineup changes the band became The Killing Lights and now it appears that more lineup changes have found singer Michael Orlando (who you oft referred to as Michael Vampire) fronting the group once more under the moniker of Vampires Everywhere. I’ve embedded the release and the poster for you below and then I’ll chime in a bit more. Check it out.

Tour - Vampires Everywhere - Ritual Tour 2016

The Press Release:
Los Angeles, CA | February, 2016 – Following a major announcement last week that VAMPIRES EVERYWHERE will be joining Filter, Orgy, and Death Valley High on the upcoming North American “Make America Hate Again” tour, the group has just announced that leading up to that run, they will be embarking on a North American headlining run. Kicking off on February 28 in Los Angeles, CA and wrapping up on March 29 in Roswell, NM, “The Ritual Tour” will see Sycamour on support, along with Chasing Safety and Brightwell on select dates. A full list of dates can be seen below.

Vocalist Michael Orlando adds,

“I am excited to get a chance to hit the cities we’ve missed on past tours. We will be playing new songs off our upcoming LP ‘Ritual’ and a couple older songs I love playing live. Don’t miss this tour!”

Vampires Everywhere will be out in support of their forthcoming album, ‘Ritual’ due out on March 18, 2016. Serving as the follow up to 2012’s ‘Hellbound and Heartless,’ it was produced by Matt Good [From First To Last, DRUGS], mixed by David Bendeth [Bring Me The Horizon, Paramore]. Thus far, the group has released two tracks off of ‘Ritual’ – the first single “Black Betty,” and a cover of Hozier’s breakout hit, “Take Me To Church” (featuring Alex Koehler of CHELSEA GRIN). Additionally, an album teaser highlighting snippets of each song on the album can be heard here.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Now I will admit to only having every seen Vampires Everywhere once and that was with Wednesday 13 down at The Studio at Webster Hall and this would have been when they became the Industrial band. It was solid but I think that I liked the sound that they had before that first transition a little bit more so let’s see how the new material works out for them in this new launching. I’ve no background at all in the other bands on this package and since the tour is not coming to my neck of the woods I am going to have to entrust you readers in the proper locations to let me know how it all worked out. Perhaps there will be a second leg and they’ll play either The Gramercy Theatre or The Marlin Room at Webster Hall on it. What do you readers think of this tour and the return of Vampires Everywhere? Does it excite you? Let me know in the comments section below.
