How could we possibly end the NY Comic Con without finding our last day leading us right into the breakout hit of AMC’s “The Walking Dead”. The zombie apocalypse series will premiere its fifth season first episode tonight. Check out the poster and then we can banter a tad.
The Premise: Well, when we last saw our cast of survivors they had arrived at a place called Terminus which appeared to be some kind of railroad junction. The teasers led you to believe this was a place of peace but there is clearly more to the picture and its probably a lot nastier than we might have hoped. As a matter of fact they seem like sumanabeeches It seems as though none of the human survivors have much compassion of the remaining living around them which is very bleak a scenario so let’s see how Rick and Company get out of this one. I posted this nice and early as I am just back from the X Japan show and off to bed to rest for the final day of NY Comic Con.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: One of the key ideals in this season is for the group to get this newer character Eugene to Washington since he claims to know the cure to the reason for the zombie virus. I’m very skeptical about Eugene and whether he is a raving lunatic with this weird ideas in his head that are not grounded in any kind of science and even more so….is there even a Washington left to go to? I would have loved for the series to explore different groups of survivors in other areas. Perhaps more in Atlanta, or even our own NYC. Anyway, are you hooked on the show and will you watch again? If you do watch don’t be one of those clowns that posts what happened in the episode moments after it ended on your Facebook. There are lots of people attending the after Con events and shows and to spoil their enjoyment of the program wins you our “Douche Of The Day” award. Perhaps even an unfriending on Facebook in some peoples eyes and you know how serious that is to people. So think before you type “OMG they ate “insert character here” like a bucket of chicken nuggets!!!!!
