For the folks still keeping up with the prequel to all the apocalyptic goings on in “The Walking Dead”, the third season of the series “Fear The Walking Dead” begins tonight on the AMC Network. Here’s the official poster for the season and some reminder of casting and premise.
The Premise: Set initially in Los Angeles, California and then later in Mexico, the series follows a dysfunctional, blended family composed of high school guidance counselor Madison Clark, her English teacher boyfriend Travis Manawa, her daughter Alicia, her drug-addicted son Nick, Travis’ son from a previous marriage, Chris, Chris’ mother Liza Ortiz, and others who join their group at the onset of the apocalypse. They must reinvent themselves, learning new skills and adopting new attitudes in order to survive as civilization collapses around them. (thanks Wiki).

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Way back when in my posting about the Second Season premiere of this program, I disclosed how I had pretty much given up on it and I had. After a few episodes of the first season I found none of the characters to my interest and stopped watching. What I didn’t do what stop it from recording on the DVR so I ended up with the full first and now second season. So one day while bored I gave it another go and found myself liking it a little more by the second or third episodes of the second season. I’m not done yet as you read this so its steady as we go on the DVR process but if you were like me and said “eh who cares”, find one of those lull days in your calendar and binge a bunch of episodes. There is some cool outcomes to see and its more interesting by that time than I found it being in the first season. The world is beginning to fall to a larger level of s–t by the end of the second season I am guessing since its surely heading that way where I am currently. I think I’m at episode “6” right now but I will catch up. Please don’t ruin anything for me though as I’d appreciate it, and you can let me know if you are still watching this down in the comments below. See you next time.
