Hey here is something that might interest a number of you NYC Underground music fans. It seems as though the legendary Toilet Boys are doing a reunion show at the one and only Saint Vitus Bar. Isn’t that cool? I mean if you’re a fan of theirs of course. Check out the poster and statement below which we snagged from their Official Facebook Page.
Says Miss Guy:
“We’re very excited to announce our first official New York show in over 10 years! Saturday Feb 13th 2016 at St. Vitus with special guests Battletorn and The Sweet Things. Tickets on sale soon and more dates to be announced! #ThePartyStartsNow”
PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ll keep my own thoughts brief on this since I never really followed The Toilet Boys nor had much background in them outside of a couple of popular songs. I do think its great when any band decides to come back and do gigs at small intimate places such as Saint Vitus Bar. If this news is blowing your mind then you better keep watching the listings for ticket sales since this space is smaller than most others and that means a sure to sellout event. I don’t think I will go because its around the time that I do the Toy Fair and that fills my time up rather nicely but if they do anything at Irving Plaza or Gramercy Theatre I will surely look into going so I can report on it here for you readers. Stay tuned and if you do end up going to this, drop a line and let us know how it was.
