PiercingMetal Thoughts: While I am always excited about the announcement of a Trans-Siberian Orchestra tour I will not lie and say that this one is not going to be a very difficult one for me and actually so many of the fans of this amazing experience as well. Not only did we lose their founder Paul O’Neill earlier this year but we also lost the great Dave Z. a few short months ago and to say that each of these passings were heartbreaking to their fans would be an understatement. The music world truly lost some incredible individuals and this will never be the same without them. As usual I will very likely only be able to hit my regions show based on a healthy itinerary for the rest of the music scene but at that show I am looking forward to seeing the fans that I have made friends with over the years and who see them a dozen times each go round. A hearty embrace and smiles will serve as a proper balm against the losses as we celebrate a hopefully brighter future for all thanks to this incredible music. What about you my dear friends? Will you be joining me at this event? Well, I mean at the overall tour since I don’t expect our national readership to all be there in NJ with me (that would make getting a good seat a lot more difficult for me and I like a good seat at the TSO that’s for sure LOL). December cannot come fast enough for me and let’s celebrate this music and send our cheers of approval to the heaven’s so Paul, David and Darryl can hear us….
