The Rockstar Uproar Festival Begins Today (8/9/2013)

So who’s going?

I’ve already mentioned how we love going to the live shows at the PiercingMetal HQ and that is why I am doing a last minute reminder for any of those fans of the big events to let them know that the 2013 edition of the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival is beginning today. This years event features Alice In Chains, Jane’s Addiction, Coheed and Cambria along with Circa Survive who will be performing on the Rockstar Energy Main Stage. There is also an Ernie Ball Festival Stage that will host Walking Papers (featuring Duff McKagan), Middle Class Rut, New Politics, Danko Jones, Chuck Shaffer Picture Show and the local Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands winner in each market. It’s clear that there is a lot to enjoy at this one.

For those in the unaware, this will be the fourth year for the Festival and I personally think that they upped the headlining stage game considerably over last year’s offerings (that event featured Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, Adelitas Way, P.O.D., Fozzy, Deuce etc. in case you wondered) The trek will launch today Scranton, Pa. and will find its grand finale on Sept. 15 finale in Irvine, California. The full run of dates are listed for you below in case you still have not purchased tickets and have now decided to go. If you happen to hit one of these shows please tell us how it was in this post or via a message to to via our Official Facebook. I’d love to hear from you. At this point I am still not going and based on my schedule might have to take a pass. It happens even if I don’t like it to be the case.
