The Cure Release Limited 2016 North American Tour Info

I can honestly say that I don’t remember the last time that The Cure has done a tour over here in the States so I was excited to be able to share the news that was posted on their Official Facebook yesterday in the wee hours of the AM. Considering I had a couple of television posts running I opted to wait until today to get a little more information so here is their proposed poster and brief statement.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Wow that is really barely a press release but I guess its outstanding if you wanted to retweet that until the cows come home since it’s so few characters and only requires minor edits to fit the 140 limit. Anyway, I am someone who has never, ever before seen The Cure in concert and yet they were always a band that I was kind of curious about seeing in the live sense. Believe it or not I do enjoy quite a few of their tunes since my interests expand far outside of my Heavy Metal persona. Since there are more dates being announced as time goes forward I will return to this post as necessary to fill in more gaps. The opening act is a new name to me as well but I did a quick listen on Spotify and its not bad at all so I am game to check them out as well. I would have waited longer and closer to the big reveal but I want you readers that are anxious about this one to be able to get on point for whatever tickets are made available to the general public. So what do you folks think about this tour? Is it something that you are interested in checking out? Let me know in the comments as its always cool to get your thoughts.
