PiercingMetal Thoughts: Truth be told I’ve only listened to this band on the rare occasion when in the company of a more diehard fan. It’s nothing personal of course since one cannot hope to ever catch everything that is out there nor lend it the support it needs to thrive. To my defense I did catch one of those shows where they did three full albums a few years ago. At least I think I was listening to three full albums since it was a super long show and packed to the very doors. That had to be encouraging for the band for sure. With that said I will admit that I love when bands are continuing their moving into the future for the fans and bringing them a lot of chances to catch them in concert. I’m going to try to catch them again since I notice that my region has two shows and each of these venues is a place that I like quite a bit. What about you readers? Are you a fan of The Church and will be marking these gigs down as a “must do” agenda item? The new single sounds pretty good and I enjoyed it.
