The Premise: In the far future of humanity, Duke Leto Atreides accepts stewardship of the dangerous desert planet Arrakis, also known as Dune, the only source of the most valuable substance in the universe, “the spice”, a drug which extends human life, provides superhuman levels of thought, and makes faster-than-light travel possible. Though Leto knows the opportunity is an intricate trap set by his enemies, he takes his Bene Gesserit concubine Lady Jessica, young son and heir Paul, and most trusted advisers to Arrakis. Leto takes control of the spice mining operation, which is made perilous by the presence of giant sandworms. Back in July, I shared the nominees for the 45th Annual Saturn Awards and you actually don’t need to refer to that post since I’ve decided to not only list the winning names with this kind of narrative but also those who each honoree went head to head against. Back in May I shared the Official Trailer for “Spider-Man: Far From Home” and if you missed it just click HERE to be on point. You’re probably already aware of this but with it being a holiday week, you might be preoccupied with other items but that being said the Sony Pictures feature opens today in theaters everywhere. I hope that by now you have seen “Avengers: Endgame” because you’ll need to but if you haven’t you are in luck as they have recently re-released it in select theaters. I discussed that re-opening HERE. At the time of this post that film has brought in a whopping $2.761 billion dollars and is on track to become the highest grossing film of all time. Anyway, so onto “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, the Official Poster is below along with premise and casting. I’ve even added a few other posters for your enjoyment.

The world of geekdom has been anticipating this trailer for a few weeks now as it was initially expected around the time that we got the most recent “Godzilla: King Of The Monsters” one.
