The Scoop: Hey my friends, I am back one final time to line out some of the highlights of the past few days virtual event “New York Comic Con x MCM Comic Con’s Metaverse” which took the place of the pandemically cancelled New York Comic Con this year. WHAT: DC UNIVERSE today revealed the official poster for DC’S STARGIRL, highlighting heroes and villains from the digital streaming service’s upcoming original series. The highly-anticipated live-action superhero drama from creator Geoff Johns, premiering on DC UNIVERSE on Monday, May 18, showcases an all-star cast including Brec Bassinger (Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl), Luke Wilson (Pat Dugan/S.T.R.I.P.E), and Yvette Monreal (Yolanda Montez/Wildcat). Earlier last month, I shared the trailer premiere for a brand-new superhero series “Stargirl” that will apparently run on both The CW Network AND The DC Universe streaming service. I’ll throw some opinion together on that notion a little later but if you didn’t see that first trailer click HERE in case it shows some different visuals from this newest one that went live earlier today. The DC Television Universe continues to expand and connect with apparent ease while their film universe often leaves fans of the stuff very nervous about what could come. The CW is home to a number of awesome heroes like Green Arrow (who’s show ends with this current season), The Flash, Supergirl and the Legends Of Tomorrow and now Stargirl will be joining into the mix.
