We might be dealing with the summer heat in my neck of the woods, but that doesn’t stop Mr. Wednesday 13 from announcing a brand new Fall tour. Check out the press release below. I’ll close out with editorial notations afterwards as always.
The Duke of Spook WEDNESDAY 13, will continue to support his highly successful Condolences release and embark on a North American tour this fall. Several dates will include performances with legendary guitarist JOHN 5 and shock-rocker DAVEY SUICIDE.
Comments mainman WEDNESDAY:
“We’re really excited to be hitting the road this fall. Doing the first week with JOHN 5 should be nothing short of a MONSTER show, and we’re super stoked. We’re also really excited to be touring Canada, as this will be our first time with this many dates. Looking forward to playing some new places and performing for all of our Canadian fans. We will be wrapping up the tour on the West Coast at the world famous Whisky a Go Go right before we head to the studio to record the follow up to Condolences. PiercingMetal Thoughts: So I’ve been a fan of Wednesday 13 and his slick brand of Horror Hard Rock with its occasional Metal/Punk edge and think that more people need to get their a$$es out and support his live performances. Sure I’ve seen him play to crowded rooms over the years but it’s usually the already converted to his dark cause and we always need new blood at these sorts of affairs. The “Condolences” album is a heavy one and his show always manages to pull out all the stops. If you like a garish front man who gets right up in your face with a devilish message, why wait until there is another Papa fronting Ghost? The Grooviest Ghoul of them all is waiting for your soul and if you don’t give it willingly, I’m sure he’ll send someone (or something) after it regardless. Let me know what you folks think of this one, and if you are one of the already faithful perhaps you can help me convince some newbies to get a little scare into their systems.

W13 and his merry mates will throw it down in Brooklyn along with some help from Eyes Set To Kill and Repulsur.
I just made mention that with summer steadily chugging away how the next seasons tours are coming at us and this one adds to the mix with a sinister sense. Yes my fiends, the garish and gruesome Wednesday 13 will be bringing his melodical freak show to the masses in a set of happenings known as “Condolences Across America”. Check out the press and the dates below.
