The Press Release:
We are thrilled to present not just one but two first looks at the new re-designed Batwoman suit for Ryan Wilder (new series star Javicia Leslie). While Ryan Wilder initially dons Kate Kane’s suit at the beginning of the upcoming season two of Batwoman, as Ryan grows into her newfound role as Batwoman, she redesigns the suit. In the third episode, Ryan reveals the new Batsuit, sending a message to Gotham that a New Hero has arrived.

The DC Fandome Is Happening Today!!!

As previously discussed here on the PiercingMetal website, the DC Fandome is here and will take place for several hours on a computer or mobile device near you. Some of the highlights that we shared on our little dotcom can be perused by clicking HERE. Be sure to check that out for some insight.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Straight up I will say that there is a lot of things that I am expecting to see revealed during the DC Fandome and I think that I am most interested in the upcoming movie and television series trailers. There has to be a new “Wonder Woman 1984” clip at this point and could we hope that something from the late 2021 “The Batman” film as well? I am hoping for a clip from “Superman and Lois” and maybe a tease of some other series that are being planned out. I imagine we shall see more about “Stargirl” and the other shows that lived on the DC Universe streaming service. Some of the more-gossipy sites had reported that massive layoffs took place in the company and what this means for all the things that we enjoy is anyone’s guess. I imagine its “more as the story develops”. For now I am just going to see what is offered up and hope that you are as well. I’ve been assigned some work today, so my time is sporadic in terms of my full devotion to this happening. Considering that both New York Comic Con and Anime NYC convention were cancelled due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, I see more events like this one coming to pass. Closing up I guess it’s safe to say that there will be a heavy supply of content hitting our Pop Culture features. Chime in down below with your thoughts about this whole thing and I will see you next time.

It was just about a week ago when I shared the Official Trailer for “The Fugitive” which is the next foray into short-form entertainment from the folks over at Quibi. Today this series has just gone “live” for those who are finding this method of entertainment to their liking. Let’s review the new poster, premise and casting before I close up with some editorial opinion.

The Premise:
When a bomb rips through the Los Angeles subway train he’s riding on, blue-collar Mike Ferro just wants to make sure his wife, Allison, and 10-year-old daughter, Pearl, are safe. But the faulty evidence on the ground and “tweet-now, confirm-later” journalism paint a nightmarish picture: it looks to all the world that Mike was responsible for the heinous act. Wrongfully—and very publicly—accused, Mike must prove his innocence by uncovering the real perpetrator, before the legendary cop heading the investigation can apprehend him.

Some of you readers might remember my sharing some trailers for this new Quibi short-form streaming service in an effort to upgrade the amount of content in our Pop Culture focuses. The first show that we discussed was their take on “Most Dangerous Game” and if you click the highlighted text you can see those narratives. Next up comes their new version of “The Fugitive”. This was a very popular show in the fifties and also a great movie with Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones so let’s see how they modified this premise with the first Official Trailer online now. Enjoy.
