Yesterday, the 2018 Comic Con International: San Diego (or SDCC) continued into what appears to have been its busiest of days. Resultant of the offerings, we’ve been loading up the assorted sneak peeks and trailers that have been revealed across the conventions four days. If you’ve missed any of them, just click HERE for the rundown of these narratives. On Saturday, The CW Network unveiled its trailers for the DC Universe and some of its other popular shows such as “Riversale” and “Supernatural”. I’ve saved “Supernatural” to be one of my final postings about The CW Network shows since I am not too up on it. Let’s take a look.
Season 13 Recap: Dean and Sam are left reeling from the loss of so many allies and family members and their new responsibility to ‘raise’ Jack, with Sam willing to give the boy a chance while Dean is immediately concerned due to his heritage. In the other world, Lucifer keeps Mary alive as a hostage to trade for his son when he returns home, but finds himself confronted by the alternate Michael, who has killed his Lucifer and won the war. Although Dean becomes increasingly bitter at their recent losses, he gains a new sense of hope when Jack unintentionally brings Castiel back to life, but things become complicated when Men of Letters Arthur Ketch is revealed to have escaped death through a spell he received from Rowena, Ketch taking Castiel and a weakened Lucifer prisoner after Lucifer escapes back into this world when Michael tries to use his grace to create a portal so that he can conquer the other reality.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ll have to admit that I didn’t even watch this trailer since I’d like to begin binge watching the program at some point in the near future. I’ve never seen a single episode which surprises those friends who follow it religiously. These friends ask me what I am waiting for and since I trust their views on such programming I think that I best get a move on that process. I’ve been pretty behind on a lot of my shows based on a healthy concert adventuring process or “Field Work” as it were and still need to see both “Jessica Jones” and “Luke Cage” second seasons as “Iron Fists” return looms in the months ahead. What about you readers? Have you also been following “Supernatural”? How has it managed to keep your interest for so many seasons? Chime in down below as long as you don’t give away any significant plotlines.
As previously mentioned, with the 2018 Comic Con International: San Diego (or SDCC) ending today, I’ve been showcasing all of the trailers for The CW Network of programming that are most topical to our demographic of readers. Essentially the comic book and horror themed stuff that came to light yesterday. I’ve actually finished with all of their super-hero programming and those clips along with several others that you might find interesting can be examined HERE. Our next clip takes us to the town of “Riverdale” to see what dramas and circumstance will befall Archie Andrews and his friends. Let’s take a look.
As the fourth and final day of the 2018 Comic Con International: San Diego (or SDCC) draws to its close, I am continuing to showcase the trailers that hit yesterday from The CW Television Network. You’ve probably already noticed that there have been quite a few trailer posts going live over the last couple of days and if you haven’t, then you should click HERE for the rundown of these narratives. This one gives us the preview of the DC Comics character Black Lighting. Let’s look.
The Premise: Jefferson Pierce, who retired from his superhero persona Black Lightning nine years ago after seeing the effects it had on his family, is forced to become a hero again when the rise of the local gang The One Hundred leads to increased crime and corruption in his community. Season 3 Brief: In season three, the team discover that they created anachronisms throughout time, and Rip has formed the Time Bureau to help fix them. Rip tells the team of the demon Mallus, whose follower Nora Darhk has resurrected her father Damien and Amaya’s granddaughter Kuasa, also recruiting Gorilla Grodd so that they can release Mallus from his prison by perverting history. The team loses both members of Firestorm, but is joined by Zari Tomaz, a hacktivist from 2042 whose air-controlling amulet is connected to Amaya’s totem, and Wally West / Kid Flash, a speedster formerly under the tutelage of the Flash.
