Tonight: “iZombie” Season 4 Premiere on The CW (2/26/2018)

We’ve been keeping you readers informed on some of the latest tours that will be heading our way in the coming months but now its time to give something back to the homebodies that are among us and share that the fourth season premiere for The CW Network’s “iZombie” is airing tonight. The series follows the adventures of your friendly neighborhood zombie Liv Moore and you should check your local listings for the times so you don’t miss it. I’ve followed the brand new poster with some show premise and main cast. Take a look.

The Premise: Seattle medical resident Olivia “Liv” Moore is turned into a zombie while attending a boat party. She abandons her career and breaks up with her fiancé, much to the disappointment and puzzlement of her family. She discovers that if she does not periodically satisfy her new appetite for brains, she starts turning into a stereotypical zombie, stupid and homicidal. Instead of feeding by killing innocent people, Liv decides to take a job at the King County morgue and eat the brains of the corpses she autopsies. Her secret is guessed by her boss, Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti. Ravi soon becomes Liv’s friend and confidant, and as a scientist, he is intrigued by her condition. Liv finds out that whenever she eats a dead person’s brain, she temporarily inherits some of their personality traits and experiences flashbacks of their life. Those visions are generally triggered by sights (events or objects) or sounds (repeated sentences). In the case of murder victims, the flashbacks offer clues about their killers. Liv decides to use this new ability to help Police Detective Clive Babineaux solve the crimes, passing herself off as a psychic, Meanwhile, Ravi works to develop a cure for Liv’s affliction, in the hope that one day she will be able to resume her former life. Tonight: “The Flash” On The CW Network (10/10/2017)

This is an exciting week if you are a fan of The CW’s take on all of the DC Comics Superheroes because all of the shows are making their latest season premieres. Yesterday we had “Supergirl” and tonight it’s “The Flash” turn as Season 4 begins on the network. I’ve secured the poster for the season and have added some reminder of the previous happenings along with the cast. Check it out below.

Season 3 Recap: By changing his past, Barry alters the timeline, resulting in “Flashpoint”. Though he is somewhat able to restore the timeline, this creates new threats, including Savitar. After Harry and Jesse return to Earth-2, another Wells doppelgänger is recruited: the novelist “H.R.” Wells. Both Wally and Caitlin Snow begin to manifest metahuman abilities; Wally suits up as the speedster Kid Flash, while Caitlin is forced to suppress her ice-powers to prevent becoming Killer Frost. When Barry accidentally travels to the future and sees Iris killed by Savitar, he is desperate to change the future to prevent that from happening. After saving Iris and defeating Savitar, Barry takes his place in the Speed Force. (thanks Wiki)

Some Cast/Characters:
Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/Flash
Candice Patton as Iris West
Danielle Panabaker as Dr. Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost
Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon/Vibe
Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells
Jesse L. Martin as Joe West
Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West/Kid Flash

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’m still a part of “Team Flash” when it comes to The CW Network of shows and think that I like this one a whole lot more than that of “Arrow”. I do feel that some of the storyline’s in the overall sense are too drawn out and would like to see the show approach a more “Agents Of SHIELD” methodology with various arcs that all tie together. Otherwise I really like it and hope we get a few surprises and some more heroes that can be utilized across the DC Comics Television Universe. Can we start a thing called the “DCTU”? I’d like to think so. Are you still watching “The Flash” or have you even given it a chance yet? It’s on Netflix if you haven’t so if you program the new season on DVR, you can begin to binge watch the older episodes and then pick up with the recordings. Give it a shot, I think you will enjoy it and I say this as a seasoned superhero fan. Let me know down in the comments section below.

Tonight: “Supergirl” on The CW Network (10/9/2017)

While I am still rather sore from the past few days at the New York Comic Con, it’s time to put the nose to the grindstone and get all of these awesome television pieces up and in your attention visuals. This one is to remind you that at 8PM (EST) will begin the third season of The CW Network’s “Supergirl” show. You might remember that it aired for one season on CBS but now is firmly ensconced on The CW. Below you will find the series poster, a second season overview and some casting. I’ll close out with some thoughts before sending you on your way to other posts across the web.

Season 2 Recap: In the second season, Kara and her allies deal with feuds between Earth’s native populace and extraterrestrial community, and investigate the shadowy organization Project Cadmus, masterminded by Lillian Luthor, mother of Superman’s archenemy Lex Luthor. At the same time, Kara becomes friendly with Lillian’s stepdaughter Lena Luthor, the new CEO of LuthorCorp, and struggles with romantic feelings for recent Earth arrival Mon-El, a survivor and prince from Krypton’s neighboring planet Daxam. James becomes the masked streetfighting vigilante Guardian; Alex begins dating Maggie Sawyer; and J’onn befriends a younger Martian, M’gann, from the White Martian race that killed his people. Tonight: “iZombie” Season 3 Premiere on The CW (4/4/2017)

Though today might be PiercingMetal’s 12th Anniversary, it’s still business as usual here at the Metal Media Command HQ because resting on ones laurels is not something there is any time for. Not when there is a whole lot of music coming our way and season premieres such as the third time around for The CW Network’s “iZombie”. The series premiere for the new season begins tonight on The CW. Check your own local listings for times.

Tonight: “iZombie” Season 2 Premiere (10/6/15)

Logo - iZombie

Did you watch “iZombie” when it premiered last season my dear comic book series loving readers or did you let it pass you by? I didn’t know what to expect as I was not a devout reader of the title even though some friends in the illustrious DC Comics company had given me several issues and some trade paperback editions of it and at the end of the day I found the show to be quite a bit of fun. The second season starts tonight and airs after “The Flash” so check out the poster, the premise and the cast and then we can talk about it a little more.
