The nights are getting darker earlier and the chill that has been hitting the air is much colder than one would normally expect in the Fall. It goes right through you like a good scare and what better time for the movie “Halloween” to open. This sequel continues from where the very first film ended so it should be rather interesting. If you didn’t see the final trailer, please click HERE to do so because its loaded with startles.
Though we’re still dealing with the chaos that is New York Comic Con, there are other things to call to your attention while that is being addressed and one item to enjoy is the second Official Trailer for the upcoming film “Mortal Engines”. This Peter Jackson film is based on the book with the same name so let’s take a look.
The Premise: Tom is a twenty-something Londoner who has only ever lived inside his travelling hometown, and his feet have never touched grass, mud or land. His first taste of the outside comes quite abruptly: Tom gets in the way of the masked Hester’s attempt to kill Thaddeus Valentine, a powerful man she blames for her mother’s murder, and both Hester and Tom end up thrown out of the moving “traction” city, to fend for themselves. As I continue to serve up the trailer reveals from Comic Con International: San Diego or SDCC if you prefer, I’ve arrived at the latest release to come from the mind of M. Night Shyamalan which is “Glass”. You can check that out below along with the premise, casting and a teaser poster.
Premise: Following the conclusion of Split, David Dunn pursues Kevin Wendell Crumb’s superhuman persona of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters while the shadowy presence of Elijah Price, going by “Mr. Glass”, emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.
The summer is here and that means its time to begin unleashing what the studios hope will be the blockbuster film for the season and with that in mind what is bigger than dinosaurs running amok on an island that is out of time? We have arrived at the sequel to “Jurassic World” with “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” and the trailers sure have looked exciting. Let’s check out the theatrical poster, premise and casting below.
The Plot: A volcanic eruption threatens the remaining dinosaurs on the island of Isla Nublar, where the creatures have freely roamed for several years after the demise of an animal theme park known as Jurassic World. Claire Dearing, the former park manager, has now founded the Dinosaur Protection Group, an organization dedicated to protecting the dinosaurs. To help with her cause, Claire has recruited Owen Grady, a former dinosaur trainer who worked at the park, to prevent the extinction of the dinosaurs…again. (thanks Wiki).
