Okay comic book fans, Halloween is OVER and now it’s time to get onto planning for the next holiday which is Thanksgiving despite the fact that all of the Christmas decorations have made their appearance on store shelves everywhere. This month is a banger of a month in terms of the Marvel Comics first issue output. There are more than a dozen new beginnings hitting the racks and while many of them are mini-series, its enough to find you negotiating more hours from your boss or better budgeting if you are one of our regular concert going readers. Let’s take a look at these first go-rounds thanks to Marvel press provisions and please be mindful that many will have variant covers to purchase if such things make your collection better for you. Here we go.

December is going to get just a little bit darker as the villains that pit their horrific powers and evil genius against the mighty Fantastic Four get the chance to shine across comic book releases hitting the racks that month. 9/24/2018: In celebration of the much-anticipated launch of UNCANNY X-MEN #1, Marvel is excited to reveal a variant cover from superstar artist Jen Bartel!
If you thought you were being given a breather after the Marvel Comics first issue assault that came in November, then I suggest you close this posting or hit back and look at something else because there are a lot of new titles launching this month as well. The only upside is that there are not as many as we found in November since that was one expensive month. Below you’ll find the covers and some insight along with the creative teams involved which all comes from the Marvel Comics press side. As always I will return at the close to let you know what I think about this months run of titles. Here we go.
