The Details: Udo Dirkschneider is the original voice behind the classic tunes of the mighty Accept and it’s been a long time since he’s rocked and rolled in the USA. It’s been so long a time that even I don’t remember when it was that I saw him last but since then he’s moved on to a prolifically busy solo career and is bringing us a sure to be rocking show. He’ll be bringing along Halcyon Way for direct support and NYC will have local Metal flavor from Winter Nights. The release of U.D.O.’s “Nailed To Metal – The Missing Tracks” is a really good live recording. While I have never really been a fan of Udo Dirkschnieder’s voice, I found myself really feeling the intensity he delivers his songs has been kept throughout his career. I first saw Accept when they opened for KISS on the “Lick It Up” tour and the fans were Legion at this performance. Yet for some odd reason I was not into them yet.
