Though many of my friends are excited about football today since the winners on either side will line out the teams for the upcoming Super Bowl, I was more excited about the news about the Warner Brothers Pictures upcoming feature “Godzilla Vs. Kong”. The first official trailer just premiered a few minutes ago and I’ve presented that for you along with some premise, casting and promotional art. “Let them fight”…
The Premise: In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever. You might have heard about the documentary about the final years of The Beatles that was being done by Peter Jackson, and if you haven’t we’ve just solved that little problem for you on a brisk Monday afternoon haven’t we. Earlier, director Jackson offered up a sneak peek into the massive undertaking and its something you are really going to want to sit back and enjoy.
About The Film: “The Beatles: Get Back” is an upcoming documentary film directed by Peter Jackson that covers the making of the Beatles’ 1970 album “Let It Be”, which had the working title of “Get Back”. The film draws from material originally captured for director Michael Lindsay-Hogg’s 1970 documentary of the album. “The Beatles: Get Back” endeavours to recut Lindsay-Hogg’s film to show the friendly camaraderie that still existed between the Beatles, as well as to challenge longtime assertions that the project was entirely marked by ill-feeling. PiercingMetal Thoughts: I don’t recall ever having seen the original “Let It Be” film and think that like most people out there only saw the few clips from up on the rooftops. This really looks like a must see film and I cannot wait to sit down and enjoy it in full and then eventually own a copy for my video library. What do you readers think about what you saw in the trailer, I mean “sneak peek” clip? Chime in down below in the comments and always remember that during this crazy pandemic time “All You Need Is Love”….see you next time.

A lot has changed since we last discussed the film “Wonder Woman 1984” and I guess the biggest change was that it was going to be streaming on the brand-new service of HBO Max along with being presented in limited theater capacity. The trailer that they presented just recently appears to be the same one but since the methodology of enjoying this has changed up I didn’t mind sharing it once again along with some modified thoughts. Here goes.
