Netflix Begins Showing “Jessica Jones” Teaser Clips

Hopefully you have seen the incredible “Daredevil” show that aired exclusively on Netflix a few months ago and if not I suggest that you become a subscriber and get on point because that was only the first in a series of Marvel Cinematic Universe related shows that will only be able to be enjoyed via this medium. Well, until the video release of course but I digress. Trust me it was good and I have been eating this kind of stuff up for decades. The next show that will come to the service is “Jessica Jones” and it’s going to follow the adventures of a washed up, hard drinking, former super-heroine played by Krysten Ritter. Some might remember her from “Breaking Bad”. Anyway, earlier today Netflix began releasing “teasers” to the show and I’ve embedded the first one for you to enjoy.

Check Out The CW Network’s “Arrow” Season 4 Trailer

Wow has it been three full seasons of “Arrow” already? I guess it has and with the last season there was a lot left up in the air about the future of our hooded archer defender. Just a short while ago, the CW Network released the fourth season trailer and it sure does look exciting. Let’s watch and discuss a little bit more afterward.

Season Four continues to star Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland and Paul Blackthorne who are the major players in the ensemble cast. The season is set to start on October 7th.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I got into the series during the tail end of the first season but really enjoyed it even though he wasn’t being called The Green Arrow for the show. By the time the second season started I was hooked but some of the lingering plot stuff in season three was losing me. I was getting to the point of screaming “enough with R’as Al Ghul already!!!” and at its close it seemed like we were in for a bold new direction. The reports have been excellent as far as the offerings in S4 and as you can see in the trailer we are getting a new dastardly foe in Damian Darque along with new heroes Mr. Terrific and Speedy. Don’t blink as you watch because you also see John Constantine in there and he will be a welcome occasional addition to the show after NBC cancelled his own series. Come on CW Network, pick that one up and run with the ball. There is also a costume change and our Hooded Vigilante sure looks more like The Emerald Archer in it. What did you readers think of the trailer and will you be watching. Let me know in the comments.

The “Ash Vs. Evil Dead” Series Trailer Is Here!

Logo - Ash Vs Evil Dead

A lot of my friends are big on “The Evil Dead” franchise and while I’ve never seen any of the films (I know, epic fail for sure) I just had to get a post up when the trailer was made available for the upcoming series “Ash Vs. Evil Dead”.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Okay, so its clear that this is being presented with the same sense of dark humor that many of the “Evil Dead” films appeared to have which I guess is a good thing. I’d be interested in watching it but the series will air exclusively on the Starz network and that is a premium channel that I do not have access to. I only have HBO and Showtime but maybe there is an app that will let the general public see it a few weeks after it airs. Who knows. If not, I guess I will have to wait until it is presented on Netflix. What do you readers think of this trailer? Are you a fan of the premise and the series of films that preceded it? Let me know in the comments.

Check Out The Trailer For Fox’s “Lucifer”

Logo - Lucifer TV

Did you ever read DC Comics Vertigo series “Lucifer”? I remember reading a few issues since it was Neil Gaiman but I never kept up with it as I mostly preferred the costume fare when it came to my own comic book reading. Anyway, yesterday Fox released the trailer for the upcoming show that is based on this series and I have to admit it looks rather interesting. Check it out and I’ll be back.

The Premise:
Lucifer is an upcoming American television series that is set to air on Fox, and it is a loose adaptation of the comic book character created by Neil Gaiman for the comic book series The Sandman and its spin-off comic book series Lucifer written by Mike Carey, both published by DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint. The series was officially picked up on May 9, 2015 for the 2015–16 season and it is scheduled to premiere in 2016. The series will focus on Lucifer, “who is bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell and resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for the beauty of Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals”. AMC Offers A Tease Of A Teaser For “Fear The Walking Dead”

Logo - Fear The Walking Dead - 2015

So if you got up to go to the bathroom during the commercial breaks for the season finale of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” or actually if you blinked during one of these breaks you might have missed the most teasing of teasers in their “Fear The Walking Dead” spot. Take a look at this “clip” below and then we can chat about it.

PiercingMetal Thoughts:
Outside of this last season of TWD, I have to say that I was getting a little bored with the happenings as it was a whole lot of the same for me but I am in the minority here for sure. I mean I still watch it but I digress this is about the tease of the new program that seems to be set in the world before the show so many of us are glued to. I like this idea because it will give us some hopefully greater insight into how this happened. Well, I hope so at least. What do you folks think about this new shows premise and this little tiny tease that we got? Let me know in the comments section.
