Though we usually count on Mondays to be the big tour announcing days, there are some bands that like to send us into the weekend happy with the thoughts of what is to come down the pike. Such is the case with the band Despised Icon who have returned to active Metal duty and are planning a North American tour. Check out the full press release and dates down below.

They say that all good things must come to an end and such is the case with original Suffocation lead singer Frank Mullen who will be stepping down from the lineup to pursue other aspects of his life. Read the full press release below and mark down the dates that will be coming near you.
The Press Release:
New York death metal pioneers SUFFOCATION have announced dates for their final North American tour with original vocalist Frank Mullen. This historic trek will take place this upcoming October / November and see the band joined by misanthropic gore grinders CATTLE DECAPITATION, Brazilian death metal legends KRISIUN, and Swedish tech-death sensations SOREPTION.
TBDM brings their Nightbringers tour to the masses of the Big Metal Apple and do it with support from Suffocation, Decrepit Birth, Exhumed, Necrot and Wormwitch. To say that the night is going to be a brutal one is an understatement. Come out early and get the most for your money.
The Summer of 2017 is heading towards its end and that means it’s time to get the Fall tour announcement emails. We received this one about The Black Dahlia Murder a couple of days ago and are presenting it in full for you below. Check out the posters, copy, and dates. I’ll close us out with a few added thoughts. Go get ‘em.
You’ve probably been hoping for this sort of information for a couple of weeks now because as the summer makes its way towards us, the news about the annual “Summer Slaughter Tour” usually comes at us as well. I am happy to announce that this time is upon the Metal Legions of the US of A. Now if you’ve witnessed any of these events over the last few years you are fully aware about its being the “Most Extreme Tour Of The Summer”. I’m not being flippant here as that is their actual byline. I didn’t see any specific press release for this year’s event outside of the bands that make up the roster and the tour dates/venues so we are keeping this one simple and easy to digest. Headlining the tour each and every night will be the mighty Cannibal Corpse, a band that is nothing less than legendary in the Death Metal genre. The main direct support band is going to be Nile and this will be on all nights of the tour. No swapping the slot is planned to my knowledge but you never know what can happen during this kind of tour. The Summer Slaughter for 2016 will also feature After the Burial, Krisiun, Suffocation, Revocation, Carnifex and a few more. The tour is being presented by American Satan and will be the 10th straight year of this sort of concert mayhem. Good to see a tour like this can handle the dramatically shifting terrain that our scene comes with. Though the tour itself was announced not too long ago, the exact stops were released only this past weekend and I tend to hold back on sharing here until we get the full scoop. Check out the dates and places below and mark your calendars on your mobile devices. Continue reading Behold The Full Dates For “Summer Slaughter Tour” 2016→
