UFO Announces Final North American “Last Orders” Tour

ufo logo

The old saying that “all good things must come to an end” sure does seem to be ringing true for some of the worlds most influential Hard Rock and Metal bands these days. As you read this, “The Hottest Band In The World” KISS is on their “End Of The Road” tour while Elton John, Peter Frampton and Lynyrd Skynyrd have started or are wrapping up their own farewell go-rounds. It was back in May of 2018 that the influential UFO singer Phil Mogg announced his retirement (seen HERE)

The Press Release:
Last year Phil Mogg confirmed that this year’s 50th anniversary tour with UFO will be his last as the frontman of the long-running hard rock band. Consequently, it seems almost certain that at that point they will cease to exist. UFO were formed in London in 1969 and Mogg is their only ever-present member, performing on all of the group’s 22 studio albums.

While European dates have already been announced the band is now unveiling their initial North American dates for this final run. Confirmed dates are listed below and include two shows in UFO’s adopted hometown of Chicago, two special co-headline shows with fellow classic rock icons Blue Oyster Cult and two shows with Armored Saint supporting. A current list of confirmed dates can be found below. More shows will be added soon.

The Press Release:
We are pleased to announce that A Pale Horse Named Death re-signed an international deal with SPV. New music is expected to be released in Fall 2018 via the record companies Long Branch Records imprint.

The band led by founding Type O Negative and Life of Agony member Sal Abruscato released their debut “And Hell Will Follow Me” in 2011 and firmly implanted their roots in the metal scene with the sophomore album “Lay My Soul to Waste” in 2013. Both albums have been selected as part of the Revolver Magazine Top 20 Albums of the Year list in the year of its release.

Heralded “The Dirty Dozen Tour”, the trek is set to kick off in Chicago, IL on August 10th and will wrap in Las Vegas, NV on August 27th.

“The Dirty Dozen Tour” is inspired by the classic 1960s movie of the same name. “Rehearse them, Excite them, Arm them – then turn them loose on the Fans!” It will be the band’s first North American Headline Tour where demand has been steadily building after 2016’s smash success of their third album “Make Some Noise”.

Lead singer John Corabi – “We’re all very excited for our very first North American headline run. We’re kicking it all off on August 10th in Chicago and ending it in “Sin City” Las Vegas!!!
