Though the excitement about films is pretty much relegated to the Friday opening of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”, it was cool to see the Official Teaser Trailer for the 2018 animated film “Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse” which comes care of Sony Pictures animation division. Check out yon teaser below and then I’ll add in some editorial thoughts.
The Premise: In the “classic Spider-Man mold”, Miles Morales must juggle his high school life with his status as a Superhero.
Shameik Moore as Miles Morales/Spider-Man
Mahershala Ali as Aaron Davis/Prowler
Brian Tyree Henry as Jefferson Davis
PiercingMetal Thoughts: Based on the characters popularity, its nice to see Miles Morales making his way to the big screen even if its first being done as an animated feature. One has to think that by doing it in this fashion that Sony Pictures will also deliver the mega-popular Spider-Gwen and perhaps even the futuristic Spider-Man 2099. The opportunities are endless with the Spider-verse despite is not being connected to Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe. I am okay with that as long as we can keep on using the traditional Peter Parker Spider-Man. Since I don’t say much about teaser trailers, I will close out with that this looks promising and that is because the animation can be so spot on nowadays based on the technology. Let’s just hope for a solid story. I’ll add more on this when a longer full trailer comes to light and to leave you with some material, below are some links to Miles Morales Spider-Man items. Let me know if you liked the teaser down in the comments below.

I don’t think that I need to mention who they are since the images are clearly marked. Let’s take a look at Wave One of the Vintage Series.
