Hello and welcome back again my friends in Geekdom. You have safely arrived here at the All-New PiercingMetal.com where I am continuing along with my in-depth coverage of the brand new convention by ReedPop called “Special Edition NYC”. My Day One presentation spanned five individual narratives but our Day Two will only be this one since we managed to get to almost everything in those posts. Strap yourselves in for the ride because here we go…..
I’m going to start out at the Marvel Comics area where they were not only hosting some signings but also offering fans a handful of cool giveaways. There were comic books, trading cards and a few posters to be had along with the eyeball of The Watcher in a super ball form. Cool but in a gross way don’t you think.
Hey guys and gals we have arrived at the final chapter of the Special Edition NYC Day One adventuring and since there is a lot to dive into here I am just going to start off with the fun. You know one of the main highlights for this convention was the means to get your NY Comic Con tickets a few months in advance. Here is the entrance to that line.
Here we go Comic Fans, the fourth go round of PiercingMetal’s coverage of the first time running Special Edition NYC convention. For the readers only just joining us with the presentation, please know that I have broken down the coverage into fifty photos per chapter for the ease of visual digestion. I’ve found this lets the Cosplayers photographed find themselves a lot easier also and I like that. Getting started this time around we see a terrifying cosplay of The Shredder from TMNT.
Welcome back my friends to the posts that never end, I’m so glad you could attend look inside, look inside. Okay so I must apologize for using a line from the great Emerson, Lake and Palmer tune but I felt it applied for the situation and we are here at Chapter Three of my Day One explorations of the brand new Special Edition NYC convention. As has been done in numerous Convention posts, these chapters are broken into “50” images apiece to let you best absorb the fun. It also keeps the tags down to under 100 for the posting and that is easier on me. So let’s get started with the sights and stuffs by showcasing the booth for the “Captain Action” action figure line. I owned a couple of these growing up and am stoked to see his return to uhm err, action.
Hey there friends in Geek fandom, welcome back to my in-depth coverage of the first ever Special Edition NYC Con; This event is a brand new offshoot of the mega-popular NY Comic Con that happens here at the Javits Center in October and its overall premise and rallying call is “Comics, Art, Culture” and with that being the case I have a lot of photos to share with you. There is plenty of wonderful Cosplay coming up in this chapter and the ones to follow so how about we get underway. I’ll start off with one of the many artist tables that I saw.
