The folks at Sony Pictures are continuing to build their “Sony’s Marvel Universe” with this next installment feature “Morbius”. Fans of the Spider-Man comic will fully remember The Living Vampire from his debut appearance in those pages and now let’s take a look at the teaser trailer.
The Premise: One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero, Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success soon reveals itself to be a remedy potentially worse than the disease. (c/o Sony Pictures) Continue reading Sony Pictures: “Morbius” Teaser Trailer→
When the sequel to “Zombieland” premiered a few months ago with “Zombieland: Double Tap”, we made sure to cover it as a part of our Pop Culture Film and Television narratives because we really enjoyed that first film. The crop of trailers, special features and promotional posters that were posted can be examined by clicking HERE. I’m returning to the topic of this film as Sony Pictures has just released this on Digital platforms (with Blu-ray and DVD to follow) and in addition to this the first “10” minutes of the film are online for you to enjoy. Check out said footage down below and then stick around the post to examine the premise, casting and official theatrical art. I’ve even embedded codes for you to order this on Amazon.com if you are so inclined.
The time has come to return to the time of the Ghostbusters, a crackshot team who protected Earth from the denizens in the deceased and supernatural. Of course, with the team disbanded and unaccounted for I ask you this my friends. “Who you gonna call?” – The answer can be found in this first Official Trailer for the new film.
The Premise: A single mother and her two children move to Oklahoma after inheriting property from a previously unknown relative. They discover their family’s legacy to the original Ghostbusters, who have become something of a myth as many have long-since forgotten the events of the “Manhattan Crossrip of 1984”.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I truly loved the first “Ghostbusters” film, enjoyed the second installment for the most part and like so very many of you, never even bothered with the redo of the franchise from a couple of years ago. That being said I was curious as to how this new movie might be and when it proved to be a many years later continuation of what we all enjoyed I was game. The idea of the family members of the famous team who long since retired brings some appeal to the front and with the young cast can “Stranger Things” be a good comparison. I liked what I saw here and look forward to more reveals. Though the summer of 2020 is far away, I will likely be sitting in the local theater for this one. What did you think? Chime in down below in the comments.
With all of the Marvel Studios features coming care of Disney and the DCEU being delivered by Warner Brothers Picturses, its high time for the world of Valiant Entertainment (aka Valiant Comics) to make their big screen debut. The first in a hopeful line of connected films comes with the Sony Pictures feature “Bloodshot”. I’ve embedded the trailer, the premise and the casting down below for your consumption.
The Synopsis: After he and his wife are murdered, Marine Ray Garrison is resurrected by a secret team of scientists. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine – Bloodshot. As Ray first trains with fellow super-soldiers, he cannot recall anything from his former life. But when his memories flood back and he remembers the man that killed both him and his wife, he breaks out of the facility hellbent on revenge, only to discover that there’s more to the conspiracy than he originally thought. Way back in July I shared the first Official Trailer for “Zombieland: Double Tap” and since this is a trailer post I will not link back to that one. I will share the Promotional Posters showcasing that we did HERE for the curious and now its onto the oft-dreaded “Red Band Trailer”. As you might have surmised, this is the type of trailer that is a little more intense than the ones you will see on the television between shows like “Batwoman” and “Supergirl” so let’s take a look shall we. Hold onto your closest love one or beloved pet and leave the lights on and door and windows locked.
