So another Super Bowl is on the books as completed and yes, the New England Patriots bested the Los Angeles Rams for Super Bowl LIII in a very low scoring (and super boring) game, winning 13-3. Truth be told I’m not a sports fan at all but I tuned in sporadically to see what trailers might manifest. Considering that we’ve already recently got updated trailers for “Godzilla: King Of The Monsters” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, I was not expecting more than a tease of some kind with newer footage that we might not have seen somewhere else. Across the course of the game, we would get what were listed as “Big Game Spots” for both “Avengers: Endgame” and “Captain Marvel” and with the two clips barely surpassing a minute in length when played back to back, I’ve placed them both into a single post for your enjoyment. I’ve also added the premise for one and listed the cast in our tags as opposed to a rundown since there were too many people to type at this late hour.
Though it’s been a few months since the last reference, I’ve posted about the film “Glass” a couple of times already in posts about the First Trailer and the Second Trailer which you can enjoy by clicking the hyperlinked text. Each of them feature some cool promotional posters so do take a moment to do that and to refresh yourself with the film that brings M Night Shyamalan’s trilogy to its close. “Glass” opens today in theaters everywhere so let’s review the main poster, premise and casting.
Premise: Following the conclusion of Split, David Dunn pursues Kevin Wendell Crumb’s superhuman persona of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters while the shadowy presence of Elijah Price, going by “Mr. Glass”, emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.
The world of geekdom has been anticipating this trailer for a few weeks now as it was initially expected around the time that we got the most recent “Godzilla: King Of The Monsters” one. Well, anticipate no more and instead enjoy that cup of coffee as the next bit of adventure with the Amazing Spider-Man unfold before your very eyes. Take a look.
It was just over a month ago that we shared the second trailer for the upcoming “Captain Marvel” film from Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and if you missed our post and thoughts about it based on the holidays, just click HERE to see it. I had to admit that it was awesome and that is where I color myself surprised at the reveal of a “First Look” clip which surfaced only a few hours ago. Let’s take a look at this brief clip and then follow it with the premise, casting and another one of the exciting posters for the film.
The Premise: Set in the mid-1990s, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds. It was pretty exciting news to learn that the second trailer for the upcoming Marvel Studio film “Captain Marvel” was going to air this evening and well, outside of the need to determine when it would come to light during the football game……on that I say “Go Sports”, since I don’t follow any of that stuff at all. Now, without any further adieu, here is the latest trailer for Marvel’s “Captain Marvel”…..hold onto your hats!
