[MESSAGE FROM THE CLERGY] We wish to inform you that the Ghost Papa III Super 7 Reaction figure is now available.
PiercingMetal Thoughts: It’s without question that Super7 has been pulling out all the stops when it comes to the coolness of their ReAction figure line. So far we’ve gotten a whole bunch of Iron Maiden Eddies, a Motorhead Warpig and the Slayer Minotaur on top of the amazing Misfits Jerry Only. If you are a collector of all things Metal, Punk and Rock, you will need to allot some budget over to a Super7 account. For those who are just seeing this kind of stuff for the first time and feel they seem familiar then you are not imagining things. These figures are designed in the style of the original Kenner “Star Wars” action figures which if you are a collector of a certain age you might have a box of them hidden in a closet somewhere. This is one of my favorite lines and every year at Toy Fair I look forward to seeing what they have coming down the pike when I attend this convention. I’ll close up now but I wonder what you folks think about this brand new collectible. Will you be purchasing? Chime in down below in the comments.
You’ll have to pardon my missing this news the day it was first announced by a little bit but here we are now and the scoop is here. The great bassist of the legendary Misfits, Mr. Jerry Only will be signing his brand-new ReAction figure that comes care of Super7 at the amazing Forbidden Planet. Check out the skinny below on how you can participate.
The Press Release:
Forbidden Planet is beyond excited to announce the return of JERRY ONLY, original member of the legendary MISFITS. The punk rock icon will be at Forbidden Planet NYC to celebrate the release of his very own Misfits Super7 Re-Action figure. Not only will FPNYC have the new Jerry figure, they will also have a selection of Super 7 Misfits Fiend figures available too. Mark your calendar for Thursday July 11th from 6 to 8pm to meet the famous monster at Forbidden Planet 832 Broadway in NYC, and get an autographed Jerry Only figure!
To attend the event and meet Jerry Only you must purchase at least one Super 7 Jerry Only figure at Forbidden Planet NYC. With purchase of the figure you will be permitted to get a maximum of two personal items autographed as well.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’m a big fan of the items that come out from Super7 and when I hit the assorted conventions I can’t seem to get to my credit card fast enough to get one or two of their latest round of awesome. It was a few weeks ago that I first announced some of their Rock and Metal coolness HERE in case you missed it. I actually saw this super cool Jerry Only figure at the recent Toy Fair but since they were still finalizing some designs with the musician I wasn’t able to photograph it 🙁 What we saw was awesome and we wanted one for sure and now along with all the rest of you I get to get on the line and shake hands with the monster man himself. I’ve been fortunate enough to meet Jerry a number of times over the years while reporting on his shows and appearances such as this and I have to tell you that he is one cool dude. Fans from the region are going to want to be a part of this signing and also get their butts over to the Psycho Las Vegas event where Misfits are one of the headlining acts. So as I close this up I wonder what you folks think about it all and if you are a toy collector in some sense what do you feel about the Super7 line of spookified trinkets? Chime in down below.
As the more tenured readers are aware, PiercingMetal has been going to the American International Toy Fair for just about ten years now and one of the favorite companies visited over the last few of them have been the folks over at Super7. Initially they impressed me with small scale action figures known as “ReAction” Figures for properties like “Masters Of The Universe” and other Science Fiction but since they are also Metalheads, they offered up these same figure styles for both Iron Maiden and Slayer. Yesterday, the company did their official reveal to the masses for two more awesome figures which you can see down below. The copy and images come from their Official Facebook. Read on.
“Devilock!” Arriving next Wednesday (6/19) is the official Super7 x Jerry Only 3.75″ ReAction Figure. Jerry comes armed with his Devastator bass and wearing his terrifying spiked Fiend vest! This is not a limited edition release but set your alarms and alerts for next week. #misfits #jerryonly #reactionfigures #super7
Tenured readers of the PiercingMetal website know full well about our support of the Toy Industry for our Pop Culture narratives. We’ve been attending NY Comic Con and the Toy Fair for just about a decade now and with the latter event happening in the coming days, I am pleased to share one of the latest offerings from the amazing Super7 company. Check it out.
The Press Release:
Super7®, the San Francisco based toy and pop-culture lifestyle design house, is pleased to announce its latest collaboration with heavy metal legend Slayer, the Show No Mercy ReAction Figure. The deal was brokered by Global Merchandising Services, Inc. worldwide Agent for Slayer. Formed in 1981 in Huntington Park, CA, American thrash metal band Slayer are considered one of the greatest metal bands in history with twelve albums and over 20 million records sold.
It was back during the 2017 Toy Fair in February that I first learned of the Super7 work in progress “ReAction Figures” that would bring Iron Maiden’s famous mascot Eddie to action figure collectors everywhere but unfortunately there was not yet a prototype to see and only scaled cardboard image to examine. Months later at NY Comic Con there were some prototypes to examine but not to purchase. I shared that image as fast as possible on our Official Instagram and am repeating it here for those who might not have been following us yet.

Now the time for waiting is over, well, kinda sorta since we still have a week to wait until these awesome action figures can be ordered. Behold the full first series of Eddies – There are four in total and each showcases a different character that the famed mascot became on an album or song. I’ve used the company’s official photography since they did such a fine job of presenting them.
