[MESSAGE FROM THE CLERGY] We wish to inform you that the Ghost Papa III Super 7 Reaction figure is now available.
PiercingMetal Thoughts: It’s without question that Super7 has been pulling out all the stops when it comes to the coolness of their ReAction figure line. So far we’ve gotten a whole bunch of Iron Maiden Eddies, a Motorhead Warpig and the Slayer Minotaur on top of the amazing Misfits Jerry Only. If you are a collector of all things Metal, Punk and Rock, you will need to allot some budget over to a Super7 account. For those who are just seeing this kind of stuff for the first time and feel they seem familiar then you are not imagining things. These figures are designed in the style of the original Kenner “Star Wars” action figures which if you are a collector of a certain age you might have a box of them hidden in a closet somewhere. This is one of my favorite lines and every year at Toy Fair I look forward to seeing what they have coming down the pike when I attend this convention. I’ll close up now but I wonder what you folks think about this brand new collectible. Will you be purchasing? Chime in down below in the comments.
Message From The Clergy: We wish to inform you that we have new blood…
PiercingMetal Thoughts: And so the preparations begin and shall we watching the signs for the upcoming changes. As a humble servant and acolyte of the cause I advise you to also pay heed and wait in anticipation to what Papa Emeritus 0 decrees. Are you on the square? Then stay tuned if you know what’s good for you.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Hmmmm. No NYC or even reasonably accessible New Jersey shows on this run so one has to assume (or at least hope for) an additional group of dates being offered up. Considering how well the ghoulish ones go over in these terror-tories it makes proper sense. I know that I will not be able to catch them at any of these venues and it pains me to say that but I wonder what you readers think about this new tour announcement. Let me know the level of your adoration down in the comments section below. It would please the clergy to know you are preparing for their return nice and early. As far as my own sector, I await further instructions on how to proceed.
If you’ve been following the website and its social networks for the last couple of years, you already know that I just love using Instagram to share my adventures doing PiercingMetal concert and event coverage with the world of visitors dropping in. As we close out the 2017 year, it was time to share what amounted to our “Top Nine” images on the Instagram app and I’ve presented them to you down below. I’ll throw in some background on them down below as well so check it out.
About These Visuals: I don’t think that I need to name any of the musical personalities in the “Top Nine” or do I? If so, that’s James Hetfield (Metallica), Mike Patton (Faith No More/Dead Cross), Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden), Papa Emeritus III (Ghost) and one of the Nameless Ghouls (also Ghost). It was cool to see visuals being in the top even though I liked some o the other Metallica photos in my feed a little bit more. Those concert photos were done with the professional rig and not my mobile phone and I shared them to Instagram with the Official Facebook Page we maintain. Oh wait, the Dickinson one was done with the mobile since I had a very close seat to the action. Among the other images are the now currently shuttered Webster Hall which was snapped during its final days and a quick hello from the Metallica shop that was set up during their recent tour. The image from the websites twelfth anniversary is there which is nice and by the way we are closing in on the thirteenth anniversary. The last one is probably the most recent photo and is photographer Ville Juurikkala who had a HIM exhibit up for a few days when the band was in our city for the final time during their farewell tour. The collage says that we got almost 33K likes to 1.6K images so please keep it coming if you are using Instagram as well. At the point of this writing we have 4,758 images posted and just under 1,300 followers. The more the merrier much like our Facebook I always say.
At this point in time the PiercingMetal Instagram is followed by a little under “1300” accounts and our demographic is 54% Men and 46% Women. Our biggest region is New York (no surprise there) and followed by Los Angeles. The top age range is 25-34.
You readers can get your own 2017 Best Nine by clicking 2017 Best Nine and if you want to share the link to your Instagram when you post yours in the app you can do that in the comments section. I plan on like bombing a lot of profiles over the next few days so why not be among them 🙂 Remember to follow our adventures on the main Social Networks of Facebook, Twitter and yes even Instagram. All the links are below. See you next time.
Artist: Ghost Title: “He Is” (Single) Label: Loma Vista Recordings Release Date: 8/25/2017 Genre: Hard Rock Rating:
The other day, the band Ghost released a video for the song “He Is” which originally hails on their Grammy Award winning album “Meliora” and while I am going to post something about that in a post of its own, I wanted to first talk about the also released single for the track and what it includes. I’ve been trying to showcase singles for bands and when it’s a group as popular as Ghost, it makes sense for site attention and any Google searches. It also helps when you really like the band which I do. Before I begin, I should share that the original track from “Meliora” isn’t on this extended single and all four included versions are different aspects of the popular song.
