The Press Release:
OTHERWISE has announced a co-headline tour with Blacktop Mojo which begins on October 28 in Grand Junction, CO and wraps on November 27 in Charlotte, NC. On November 8, Mascot Records will globally release the band’s new studio album titled Defy. The record is the band’s fourth studio release of new repertoire, and first for Mascot Label Group. OTHERWISE’s Adrian Patrick shares, “”We cannot wait to throw down with the catz in Blacktop Mojo this fall. Both of our bands have new albums coming out so if you wanna see an arena-worthy rock n roll show up close & personal, grab some tickets NOW!”
A little danger makes rock music memorable. The edges cut deep and hit just as hard as any hook does, leaving a mark forever. Tapping into the spirit of rebelliousness, OTHERWISE embrace those edges on Defy. The Las Vegas quartet—Adrian Patrick [lead vocals], Ryan Patrick [guitar, vocals], Tony Carboney [bass, vocals], and Brian Medeiros [drums]—push the boundaries of their signature style in terms of both songcraft and sonic experimentation alike. Most importantly, the boys hold nothing back… Continue reading Otherwise Announces Co-Headlining Tour w Blacktop Mojo→
It’s been awhile since we’ve seen Otherwise in our fair music metropolis and sadly this new tour announcement from the guys lets us know that there is still going to be a little bit of a wait for the next NYC go round. Here is the most recent press copy from the bands own Think Tank. Enjoy.
The Press Release:
Las Vegas-based rock outfit OTHERWISE are returning to the road this Summer on a headlining tour in the states. The band will embark on the “Close To The Gods” tour, with support coming from Through Fire and Righteous Vendetta. The Wise Guys have been hard at work on a new record, which will serve as the follow up to their sophomore effort “Peace At All Costs” (2014). Speaking about the upcoming tour and the opportunity to play new material for their fans, Otherwise lead guitarist Ryan Patrick comments:
“We’re ready to get back out on the road and do what we’re meant to do. We’re getting a chance to play all these new songs off of our upcoming album and that makes us very excited. Doing this tour with two bad ass rock outfits like Through Fire & Righteous Vendetta is sure to rumble the Earth and let the Rock Gods know we’re knocking on the doors of some Rock n’ Roll history. Bring your anger, bring your love, bring your hope. See you out there!” Continue reading Otherwise Announces “Close To The Gods” Tour→

I really enjoyed the Melodic Hard Rock that I found on the Otherwise major label debut “True Love Never Dies” and I have to tell you that they are great on the live stage. That fact makes me happy to share this press release that I received the other day about their upcoming Headlining tour with Like A Storm and Islander. Check it out below the poster and then look over those dates to see if they are heading your way. I’ll return at the close with some additional thoughts.

Peace comes through struggle. It’s a reward that’s earned rather than simply given. It’s the product of tireless work and an unbreakable spirit against all odds and opposition. OTHERWISE are no strangers to that struggle, rising up to become rock ‘n’ roll contenders in the face of a tumultuous musical climate and a series of personal hardships. The Las Vegas hard alternative rock quintet-Adrian Patrick [vocals], Ryan Patrick [guitar/vocals], Corky Gainsford [drums/vocals], Vassilios Metropoulos [bass], & Andrew Pugh [guitar/vocals]-catalog the next chapter of this journey on their second full-length album, PEACE AT ALL COSTS via Century Media Records.
