Exploring New York Comic Con 2018: Day One (Part 1)

The 2019 New York Comic Con began yesterday at the Javits Center and now its time to start sharing the visuals that were snagged on the first day of the event. This would mark the ninth year that PiercingMetal was attending the convention and I would once again be representing this medium as a member of the Pop Culture Press. Those who have enjoyed these narratives over the years will already know how I break up the coverage into a number of chapters with no more than “50” images in every post. I do this to allow for easier digestion and tagging and for those who are dressed in amazing cosplay to be able to find themselves. Once the Day One photos are done its onto Day Two and so on until I pass out from exhaustion. My plan is to hit all four days barring some emergency need of my time so let’s get this party started shall we? I won’t be chiming in on every single photo but only when the need for some text is warranted and before we head into the fray, those attending might want to peruse this handy list of guidelines that I compiled over on “The Chronicles Of Piercing Ken” – Trust me it will help you out (click HERE). Onward we go.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: As I’ve already mentioned in a couple of the posts about NYCC, we ARE going to be in attendance and shall once again be among the working Geek Press. I apologize for not having a presented lineup for the event from DC Entertainment but I am not on their mailer unlike the Marvel, Image and Valiant and Dynamite ones so you will just have to click that link above to see what is coming. I am sure that they will have some awesome giveaways at their pavilion and if you see me over there do please say hello. That’s all I have for now so I will see you next time.
