Rammstein Postpones North American Tour 2020

Fans of the live music scene are chomping at the bit about news about shows that they have tickets for in the hopes that they will somehow take place if the dreaded Coronavirus Pandemic has moved along. Sadly, it hasn’t yet and this finds more and more touring cycles being cancelled many months in advance. Here now the latest update from Rammstein regarding their North American Tour that was secured from the bands Official Facebook Page.

The Statement:
Sadly, but in the best interests of everyone’s health and safety, we have to postpone our North America Tour. We are now working on rescheduling the tour in 2021, so please hold on to your tickets as they will be honored at the rescheduled show dates. We hope to have an update on that shortly and will communicate it once we do.

Rammstein Shares “Time-Lapse” Video Of Their Stage Build

Last month, the guys in Rammstein announced a full North American stadium tour and if you missed all the finer details about that just click HERE to be up to date. Yesterday, the world at large got a glimpse into just what a build of their touring stage looks like and to say that it is impressive would be an understatement. Watch the amazing time lapse video below.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Whew. Here I thought that a KISS or a Trans-Siberian Orchestra tour had a stage build to contend with. Alright, they do of course but despite their mutual awesome they are nothing like this creation. Having looked at this clip a few times, it made me wonder what kind of LEGO building set it might be if the proper expert creator of that stuff took a go at it. I realize that’s a strange revelation but I did just attend the annual Toy Fair so a lot of things like that are on my mind. It’s entirely possible because someone made a Tool diorama not too long ago so why not. It’s too early to know if I will be in attendance at the September show when the group is in my area but I sure hope to be there. If I am you will aware of it for sure with clips, and Instagram pics from the experience along with the eventual show review. See you next time.

Nightwish Announces Select North American Tour Dates

The Finnish Symphonic Metal sensation known as Nightwish has been in the news recently with their recently released single and video for the song “Noise” which is the first new music that we have gotten from the band in a few years. We discussed the clip in full HERE and encourage you to review our thoughts on it. Now, with a new record looming comes also the news of some touring. The Press Release:
This year will see the North American debut of the most extreme spectacle in live music, when RAMMSTEIN brings its full-scale stadium production to this continent for the first time ever. Rock n roll’s most ambitious pyro-theatrical experience will be on display for a series of 10 open-air dates beginning August 20 at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal and setting eight U.S. stadiums ablaze before a final bonfire at Foro Sol in Mexico City on September 27. The tour is produced by AEG Presents. Tickets will be go sale to the public 10am local time Friday January 24. For further information, pre-sales, special packages etc., go to rammstein.com.

Thy Art Is Murder Announce North American Tour

While the big media news is that “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” had just opened in theaters everywhere AND the Christmas holidays are but 48 hours away, that doesn’t stop the information train from running when it comes to tour alerts and overall important announcements. Case in point this latest bit of news from the Thy Art Is Murder guys. Take a look.

The Press Release:
THY ART IS MURDER has identified North America as the next location of their Human Target worldwide campaign. Launching on March 12th in Philadelphia, the trek will include targets of opportunity in Atlanta, Vancouver, Chicago before completing its mission in Worcester, MA on April 15th. The shock and awe campaign will enlist the likes of FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, ENTERPRISE EARTH, AVERSIONS CROWN, UNE MISÈRE (3/12-4/4) and EXTINCTION AD (4/9-15).

THY ART IS MURDER is touring in support of their recent release Human Target. The album was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Will Putney at Graphic Nature Audio in Belleville, NJ. Watch the video for “New Gods” HERE
