Okay now that you are back you’re probably eager to get your binge on as the full second season is available for streaming as you read this. Below you can find the premise of the season along with the poster and casting.

The Premise: Following the tragic end of her brief superhero career, Jessica Jones tries to rebuild her life as a private investigator, dealing with cases involving people with remarkable abilities in New York City. After her encounter with Kilgrave, Jones begins to put her life back together, taking on a new case that makes her reluctantly confront her past and who she really is. (thanks Wiki).

The Cast/Characters:
Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones
Rachael Taylor as Patricia “Trish” Walker
Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth
Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse
Leah Gibson as Ingrid
J.R. Ramirez as Oscar
David Tennant as Kilgrave

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ve already mentioned that I am a fan of these shows so I will not expand upon that at this time. I’ll be watching it at some point but I will not be binge watching the same way that my friends do because once its over its over there is nothing else as far as Marvel shows goes. Are you planning on binging this one? Have you seen the other shows and are now well-grounded in the Marvel Small Screen Universe? If you still need to start, here is the running order that you should do: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Daredevil (Season 2), Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Defenders and The Punisher. It’s a lot to watch sure but trust me its worthwhile time spent if you are a fan of this stuff. Closing up let me remind our MCU viewing readers that “Thor: Ragnarok” is now on Blu-ray and DVD for you to add to your collection AND perhaps the coolest news of all – “Avengers: Infinity War” is now opening up at the end of April instead of May. See you next time.

Nextflix Presents: “Lost In Space” Official Trailer (2018)

It’s pretty amazing to realize that nowadays it seems as though everything is being rebooted, repurposed, relaunched or given a prequel chapter. If you are shaking your head about this statement then let’s consider the news that the time-honored Science Fiction series “Lost In Space” has been relaunched as a brand-new Netflix Original Series. The trailer surfaced yesterday and I’ve snagged it for you below. Take a look.

The Premise:
In the year 2046, the Robinson family and the spaceship Jupiter 2, one of several Jupiter ships, encounters a rip in spacetime and crashes on an unknown planet. Stranded light years from their intended destination, the Robinsons and other colonists marooned with them battle a strange new alien environment and their own personal demons as they attempt to leave the planet.

Netflix Presents: “Jessica Jones” (Season Two) Official Trailer

If you love her that’s fine but if you hate her she likely doesn’t give a rat’s @$$ about it….yes my friends, we finally have a full trailer for the upcoming, second season of Marvel’s “Jessica Jones”. The second go-round for this private investigator with superhuman abilities will be available for streaming in full in March so let’s check out the trailer to get an idea of what’s coming.

The Cast/Characters:
Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones
Rachael Taylor as Patricia “Trish” Walker
Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth
Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse
Leah Gibson as Ingrid
J.R. Ramirez as Oscar
David Tennant as Kilgrave

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Now I didn’t actually read the original “Alias” series where the character comes from but I have been loving all of these Netflix Original Series quite a bit and yes even “Iron Fist”. I tell you I still don’t know why there was so much rancor for that one. I’ve been following the Marvel Cinematic Universe since it started and love these grounded heroes as well. The continuity is strong and they just keep on building it up. The “Black Panther” film opens up soon and you can be sure that I will be there but most likely after the Toy Fair which is that same weekend. IMHO Marvel Television and Marvel Studios are killing it. The folks at WB really need to sit and refocus all of these initiatives and make them work in the fans eyes. “Justice League” while watchable was still pretty disappointing and it makes me think they need some sort of edgy run of connected series on the small screen like this stuff to work off of the shows on The CW Network but I digress. I really enjoyed the first season of “Jessica Jones” despite not knowing the character much and felt she was great in “Defenders” as well. What did you readers think of the trailer? Will you be binging this one? Have you started your exploration of these shows at all? If not you are missing out for sure.
