Everyone who watched the first season of Marvel’s “Daredevil” was pretty sold on the performances and the overall presentation that we found as viewers. Charlie Cox was a terrific Matt Murdock/Daredevil and it was great to find the show taking place in the same universe that ALL of the recent Marvel Studios films are. By doing this there were references to things that happened in a wide variety of films and I love those kind of Easter Eggs. Check out the poster below of the second season which will go live on Netflix on March 18th.
As you can tell by the poster, there are a lot of players in this second season for our Man Without Fear to deal with and I am fine with that since its expanding the ever growing Marvel film universe. I also love how these shows are connected together which we found thanks to some references in “Jessica Jones”. These series are really giving Marvel fans something special and now we have the first trailer for the second season of Daredevil. The first trailer focuses on The Punisher. Check it out below.
Marvel’s latest Netflix exclusive series is here with “Jessica Jones” and all episodes of the series are available for viewing as of today. This follows the stunning “Daredevil” and continues Marvels Cinematic Universe expansion. The series stars Krysten Ritter and David Tennant.
Yesterday Netflix unveiled a second trailer for the upcoming Marvel Studios series “Jessica Jones”. It follows the hit “Daredevil” and will take place in the existing Marvel Cinematic Universe and will be the second of four series that brings Marvels heroes down to the street level. Nice and gritty with a lot of action but anyway, check out this second trailer.
Yesterday Netflix unveiled the first full trailer for their upcoming original series “Jessica Jones” which is set in the same universe as their previous show “Daredevil” and most important of all, will be a part of the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe. For a few weeks they had these teaser trailers which I culled together in THIS POST. Take a look at those because there are a couple of interesting Easter eggs to be found in them. Then you can check out the first full on trailer below.
PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ll be the first to admit that I am not too sure about how this particular character will be received but its nice that they are continuing along with interrelated characters and aiming towards a unified goal. “Cage” and “Iron Fist” will follow this series and lead us to “The Defenders” much like “Iron Man”, “Thor” and “Captain America The First Avenger” led us to “The Avengers”. This clip is pretty good though and shows that our heroine is flawed and has numerous issues. The big bag will be Killgrave who is also known as The Purple Man and we also have Luke Cage in the series who according to what I have read will have his powers already but is keeping them under wraps. What do you folks think of the trailer? Anything you will be getting behind? Fill me in down in the comments.
We’ve been anticipating this one for a few months now and I am happy to report that the first full season of “Marvel’s Daredevil” or simply just “Daredevil” will be available to watch in its entirety as of this moment today but you will need a subscription to Netflix to do so. This is the first in a series of four heroic shows that are in the immediate plan with the others being “Power Man”, “Iron Fist” and “Jessica Jones”. These four shows will eventually be tied even closer together in an additional Netflix series focusing on “The Defenders”. Let’s have a look at the few posters so far and the premise and cast for “Daredevil”. I’ll be back after that.
