City Of Austin Cancels SXSW March Events

The City of Austin has cancelled the March dates for SXSW and SXSW EDU. SXSW will faithfully follow the City’s directions.

We are devastated to share this news with you. “The show must go on” is in our DNA, and this is the first time in 34 years that the March event will not take place. We are now working through the ramifications of this unprecedented situation.

Masquerade Music Festival Reveals Lineup For January Event

The brand-spanking New Year is here and its time to get right on down to the business of Heavy Music and Pop Culture coolness. Earlier this morning, we learned about the upcoming “Masquerade Music Fest” which is take place at Mulcahy’s in Long Island. Let’s take a look at the press release.

Everclear and Sponge were responsible for countless MTV and radio hits (“Santa Monica,” “Everything to Everyone,” “Wonderful,” “Plowed,” “Molly,” “Wax Ecstatic,” etc.). We like our readers on point with all of their favorite bands after all. Now onto the news about the also first-ever, “Knotfest UK”. Take a look down below. KNOTFEST, the music and lifestyle phenomenon created by multi-platinum, genre defining metal band, SLIPKNOT, will once again make history in 2020 with the first ever KNOTFEST UK. The event will take place at legendary venue, The National Bowl, Milton Keynes on August 22nd. Members of SLIPKNOT’s official fan club, Outside The 9, will have a first access pre-sale that goes live on December 19th at 10am GMT; fans can join and get their passcode at outsidethe9.com.

When SLIPKNOT returns to headline KNOTFEST UK, it’ll mark their first return to The National Bowl since their iconic performance at Ozzfest 2001. KNOTFEST UK full line-up and on-site activities will be announced early next year.

ProgPower USA Reveals 2020 Day 3 & 4 Lineup

At the time of our posting this, there are hundreds and hundreds of Metalheads making their way to a place called The Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia for the annual ProgPower USA Heavy Metal music festival which actually is starting later on today. While these fans are getting ready to rock, we caught wind of a promotional video for next years 3rd and 4th day and are sharing it with you below so you know what we are both missing out on at the moment and how excited we should be for next years happening. Watch the video to see clips of all the announced bands. It’s a bit long but I found it rather enjoyable so you should as well. Here we go.

The Lineup: Shattered Skies, Witherfall, Eternal Tears Of Sorrow, Night Flight Orchestra, Conception, Arion, Thank You Scientist, Jeff Scott Soto, Beast In Black, The Gathering, Ihsahn, Turilli/Lione: Rhapsody.
