When I announced the performer lineup for the 2019 “ShipRocked” Cruise (seen HERE), a lot of Metalheads were wondering just what in the heck was going on with the announcement for the 2019 “70K Tons Of Metal” excursion since that usually came up in July. Well, as the saying goes “it’s better late than never” as the first details and bands have been lined out. Read on down below.

Music Lineup Announced For ShipRocked 2019

As the summer draws ever closer to its end, it only makes sense for the 2019 concert cruises to start getting announced. A popular event is the “ShipRocked Cruise” and the press release in full is just below for you to enjoy. Check it out.

A spectacular music lineup has been announced for ShipRocked 2019, celebrating a decade of rock ‘n’ roll on the high seas January 26-31, 2019 onboard Carnival Valor for the first time. The greatest vacation ever will feature performances from Papa Roach, Bullet For My Valentine, I Prevail, Nothing More, Suicidal Tendencies, Sevendust, Motionless In White, and more, expanding to five days and nights, departing from Galveston, TX, with stops in Cozumel and the Yucatán in Mexico. The KISS Kruise WILL Sail Again In 2018!

Alert: Public Sales Date Announced For “70000TONS OF METAL” 2018

So a couple of months ago I shared the first news about the 2018 “70000Tons Of Metal” Cruise and as I said then, it was my goal to help share the skinny on these events since so many people I know head out on them. I’m back now to share the information about the public sale of the tickets and a whole crop of additional bands who shall be joining into the high seas Metal fray. Read on.

70000TONS OF METAL, The Original, The World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise, has announced the Public Sales date for the February 1-5, 2018 voyage which sails from Miami / Fort Lauderdale to Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands and back.

Public Sales will begin Thursday September 21, 2017 at 12:00 PM EDT (9:00 AM PDT, and respectively 6:00 PM CEST). Only 3,000 tickets will be sold, with prices starting at USD 766.00 plus Taxes and Fees per person and includes on board accommodation, access to all shows, meals, room service, port and service charges. Sales for 70000TONS OF METAL Survivors (festival goers who have attended the event before) started on July 7, 2017 so limited tickets remain. Visit the website below before they are gone!!!

Metal Festival At Sea! “70000TONS OF METAL”: Sales Dates & First 16 Bands

As you readers know, in addition to all of the UPCOMING TOURS that we post about in that Category, there are also a whole lot of Music Cruises to choose from and its high time to start posting the alerts and updates about the ones we find most interesting. We’ve never been on one of these but love hearing the scoop from our friends that take them so here is the first update about next years “70000Tons Of Metal”.

The Press Release:
70000TONS OF METAL, The Original, The World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise, has announced ticket sales dates for Survivors and the first 16 of 60 bands to perform on board. The much-anticipated 8th edition sails from Miami/Fort Lauderdale, FL to Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands and back on February 1-5, 2018.

The first 16 bands announced are: AETERNAM, CANNIBAL CORPSE, DARK TRANQUILLITY, ENSLAVED, GOATWHORE, IN EXTREMO, INSOMNIUM, KORPIKLAANI, MESHUGGAH, NECROPHOBIC, OBSCURA, OCTOBER TIDE, RHAPSODY, SEPTICFLESH, SEPULTURA and SONATA ARCTICA.

70000TONS OF METAL GOLD Survivors (festival goers who have attended three or more times) will be able to purchase tickets starting Friday July 7, 2017 at 12PM EDT (9AM PDT, 18:00 CEST and respectively 17:00 GMT+1). SILVER Survivors (festival goers who have attended one or two times) will be able to purchase tickets starting Monday July 17, 2017 at 12PM EDT (9AM PDT, 18:00 CEST and respectively 17:00 GMT+1). The Public Sales date will be announced in the coming weeks across all @70000tons social media pages and on the official 70000TONS OF METAL website.

Ticket prices for the 2018 cruise start at USD 766.00 plus Taxes and Fees per person and include on board accommodation, access to all shows, meals, room service as well as port and service charges.
