PiercingMetal Thoughts: I think that this is a great idea since we are all under lockdown unless we’re viewed as “essential” workforce and these films might be just what most of us need to escape the constant uncertainty of the day based on the Coronavirus pandemic. It’s nothing to be trifled with that’s for sure so I hope you are being safe out there. Currently I do not subscribe to the Disney+ service since I only have a small Kindle Fire tablet and my PS3 is not set up with an app for me to watch on the television so I will be pulling my copies of these classics out of my video library and watching them the old fashioned way. I’ve also been working my way through some of the Marvel Studios films when I am not trying to keep our readership engaged with the website. What do you think of this news? Do you subscribe? Will you watch these films another way if you don’t? Chime in down below and if you need some of them still, I’ve loaded all of them down below on Amazon.com for you to order.
Truth be told there has been no shortage of posts relating the Marvel Comics super-spy The Black Widow with her movie drawing closer and closer to being released. We all know that sequels to popular films are all the rage and sometimes they become endless and sometimes even a little silly at points. To my knowledge there are about 25 “Friday The 13th” films and at least double that for “A Nightmare On Elm Street” and of course I am being very fascicious here. The endless sequelling has given birth to a new trend that bypasses a number of films and instead gives us a many years later direct sequel to an orginal film. We saw this with “Halloween” and most recently “Terminator: Dark Fate”. Now it continues into the “Candyman” franchise that will continue where the 1992 film left off. Check it out.
The Anime features continue to rise in influence upon the world of geekdom with shorts, conventions and full-length features such as this one being showcased in the narrative. While we are not as schooled in it as we’d like to be, we’ve done our best to support the medium at events like Liberty City Anime Con and Anime NYC or with events like the recently announced winners of the Crunchyroll Anime Awards. Clicking any highlighted text will bring you to those items but now its onto the Official Dub Trailer for the feature “My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising”. Let’s take a look.
We posted the first trailer for the upcoming Universal Pictures feature “The Invisible Man” back in November and I have to admit that based on how many other posts have gone online since then, it feels like much longer than only three months. The interested in keeping pace are welcome to peruse that trailer by clicking HERE but now a second one has been revealed for the film that opens up at the end of this month. Let’s take a look and “see” what we can. He is invisible after all…..
Trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist, Cecilia Kass escapes in the dead of night and disappears into hiding, aided by her sister, their childhood friend and his teenage daughter. As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia’s sanity begins to unravel as she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.
