When Disney and Marvel Studios held their Hall H panel at the most recent Comic Con International: San Diego, we got a crop of Marvel films and television series and I not only shared the rundown but offered some Geek expertise on the batch which you can find HERE in case you didn’t see that. Now, as the morning coffee begins to do its trick, I am returning to a similar topic while the D23 Fan Expo takes place in Anaheim, CA as they announce some new shows that will exclusively air on the upcoming Disney+ service.
Ms. Marvel: Though I am not the most dedicated reader of the “Ms. Marvel” monthly title from Marvel Comics, I do think the character is a good idea. For those who don’t know much about her, this Ms. Marvel is one Kamala Khan and is the first Muslim character with her own comic title under the publisher. She is more of an Inhuman than a mutant or one that deals with the Power Cosmic but since she is younger, it opens up a world of creative storylines ala “The Runaways”. This could be an interesting series. Continue reading Exclusive Disney+ Marvel Studios Series Reveals @ D23 Fan Expo 2019→
Hello my friends and welcome to October! It’s always one of my favorite months of the year because of Halloween and this year its even more special based on all of the amazing stuff that is headed our way in terms of media. For instance, we are only days away from the opening of the film “Venom” and if you haven’t seen the second trailer yet just click HERE. We also have the return of Michael Myers in “Halloween” which looks as creepy as all get out. Don’t believe me then click on this LINK for good measure to see what I mean. So this month also is the month of “Spider-Geddon” and we’ve showcased the assorted variant covers that were coming for that first issue HERE in case you didn’t see them but that is enough out of me, its time to present the new launches and special editions from Marvel Comics as was provided by their press angle with light additional spice from other providers who have culled the same releases. Let’s go.
SPIDER-GEDDON #1 (OF 5): REVENGE OF THE SPIDER-VERSE! Back in 2014, SPIDER-VERSE brought every Spider-Man ever together. This event spinning out of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #800 has Christos Gage and Dan Slott teaming up to destroy them all. The Inheritors have somehow gotten out of their radioactive prison planet and made their way to the Marvel Universe. It’s going to take a whole Spider-Army to keep them from TAKING IT ALL! Starring Spider-Man, Doctor Octopus, Spider-Gwen, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, the Spider-Man from the anticipated video game and, well, every Spider-Man and Spider-Woman ever, including some brand-new ones! With Jorge Molina on art, the END OF ALL SPIDERS never looked so good!
CHRISTOS GAGE with DAN SLOTT (W) • JORGE MOLINA (A/C)
SPIDER-FORCE #1 (of 3): A SPIDER-GEDDON TIE IN! The deadliest mission in all of SPIDER-GEDDON has come up and Kaine has stepped forward for what he’s sure will be a suicide mission. But he can’t do it alone and Jessica Drew, A.K.A. Spider-Woman has signed on to help, but has Kaine told her the whole truth? With Ashley Barton, from the OLD MAN LOGAN universe, and two new characters (Astro-Spider and Spider-Kid), Kaine’s team is complete and their first mission may be their last!

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ve always loved the Moon Knight character ever since he first appeared in “Werewolf By Night” so many years ago but I must admit that I am not on top of his most recent batch of adventures. I collected several of his series over the years and they are secure in a long box somewhere in my storage unit. I’m stoked to share that the characters title will hit a milestone of “200” issues (and be aware this is based on the return to the legacy numbering – I know, it confuses me too). I will probably grab this one when it hits the racks next month and hope that somehow this puts more interest in bringing him to a series on Netflix or maybe even introduced into the MCU. Wouldn’t that be sweet. Chime in down below if you have anything to add but for now I am done and be aware that I am once again attending the NY Comic Con as a member of the Press and shall be documenting the adventures on the website and across our Official Social Networks of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter so be sure to follow those accounts if you aren’t already. Until next time.
The Press Release:

The excitement is high for the second MCU appearance by the Amazing Spider-Man in Marvel Studios upcoming film “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and for those living under a rock, this feature is a collaboration between the House Of Ideas and Sony Films since they still hold a firm grasp on the valuable Marvel license. We’ve shared a few of the films trailers already like the one found on THIS LINK and now its time to showcase some awesome action figures that come care of the folks over at Hasbro Toys. I don’t think I need to say who these characters are do I? Scroll on through to the end if you need some help. Let’s go.
