Now In Theaters: Blumhouse’s “Fantasy Island” (2/14/2020)

There is probably no better way to spend Valentine’s Day than with someone close to your heart enjoying a horror-themed version of a classic television show from the seventies. If you’re just joining us about this particular topic, there is brand-new version of “Fantasy Island” done by Blumhouse and released via Sony Pictures. Universal Pictures: “Fast & Furious 9” Official Trailer

Fans of the “Fast & Furious” franchise of bombastic chases and explosions and intrigue and action will be pleased to find the release of the ninth chapter in these characters stories coming out this April. As you know, I’ve really pushed our Pop Culture items up a notch and will not only be adding the occasional Horror clip and summaries to our content, but also these big screen Action Adventure films as well since our core audience is a lock for such things. Let’s take a look at the first trailer which was just recently revealed by the folks at Universal Pictures.

The Premise: After the events of “The Fate of the Furious” (from 2017), Dominic Toretto and his family must face Dominic’s younger brother Jakob, a deadly assassin, who is working with their old enemy Cipher, and who holds a personal vendetta against Dominic.

Sony Pictures: Blumhouse’s “Fantasy Island” Final Trailer

Now that 2020 is stem-rolling us all with numerous things to do, places to go and movies to see, I wanted to remind you all that there is a horror version of the classic “Fantasy Island” series opening up in the coming weeks. It’s a Blumhouse production care of Sony Pictures, and I shared the first trailer HERE if you didn’t see it. The “final trailer” has just been revealed but you completists might want to watch the both of them and we sure don’t mind some extra time on the website. I’ve followed said new trailer with the premise, an updated casting and the theatrical release poster. Have at it.

Though I’ve been doing my best to include more horror content into my Pop Culture, Film and Television narratives – I have to admit that I never, ever expected to learn about a horror-themed take on the classic 70’s television series “Fantasy Island”. The release is a Blumhouse production and will come out next year care of Sony Pictures and the first trailer was released only a few short days ago. Let’s take a look. Opening: “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” in Theaters Everywhere (5/5/2017)

“Sound the trumpets” – Yes my fellow geeks, the time has come for the “Guardians Of The Galaxy 2” film to be released and I am super stoked for this one. Below you can find the official theatrical release poster and the film details. I’ll close out with my editorial opinion down below after all that.

The Premise: Set two-to-three months after the first film, the Guardians of the Galaxy travel throughout the cosmos and struggle to keep their new-found family together, while helping Peter Quill learn more about his true parentage. (thanks Wiki).
