Spider-Man fans everywhere will be eager to own this new figure in the Marvel Legends Infinite Series since it brings the questionable heroism of Agent Venom to their playing field. Check him out below his logo. Please note that these images were provided by Hasbro’s Press Outlet so we could get them to you nice and sleek like.
In the comics, Agent Venom is actually a government operative and is the super hero/villain identity of Flash Thompson. He is a member of The Thunderbolts and according to what I read during Free Comic Book Day, also a member of The Guardians Of The Galaxy so he will work well with your collections of each of those action figure sets should you own them. Here is the open figure and you can see that he looks awesome.
Back in March I put up a post that showcased some incredible Hasbro action figures for the new film “Captain America The Winter Soldier” which you can check out HERE. Now that the film has been out for a month I figured let me post the images of the lines wave two of figures to be complete. There’s three additional figures to add to your collection so lets get right down to business shall we.
First up we have a new Black Widow so all your Scarlett Johansson fans will be super happy to add this kick ass heroine to the ranks of your own personal Avengers. As before I am using the press provided images and they gave us the free standing figure and one in the packaging.
The latest Spider-Man film, appropriately titled “Amazing Spider-Man 2” does NOT come out care of Marvel Studios but is instead under the mindful eye of the Sony studios and if you enjoyed the first film (which I did to an extent) then fans should be ecstatic about the sequel coming out this summer. Hasbro Toys will be bringing this film to peoples collections with their “Spider-Man Legends Infinite Series” and as I did with my last couple of posts about these figures, I culled together the provided press images and talked a little about the figures. You’ll get to see what amounts to this whole first wave in its packaging. Let’s get started with one of Spider-Man’s most classic of villains – The Beetle.
In addition to the previously mentioned “Guardians Of The Galaxy” film, Marvel Studios is releasing the second film starring that patriotic Avenger with “Captain America The Winter Soldier” and the trailer for this one looks like gangbusters in terms of excitement. The film comes out next month and this posting showcases some of the awesome and detailed action figures that will be coming out care of Hasbro Toys as they continue the Marvel Legends Infinite Series. As before I’ll keep it brief and let the photos do the talking and then offer up my thoughts at the close about this line.
These figures were a part of the Hasbro Toys revealed at the 2014 Toy Fair at their show room offsite. We did not go to the showroom so instead have used the press provided images for this particular line. This time around we have the packaging images as well and figured that some of you might like to see that. The first wave of six figures for this series is very interesting since its quite laden with Marvel Comics villainy. Starting off we have one of the Soldiers of A.I.M. (that’s Advanced Idea Mechanics for those who don’t know). They’re a nasty group of scientists that plagues many of Marvel Comics heroes. You’ll notice also that this is a “Build A Figure” series and many figures include a piece of a larger figure that you can assemble when you have them all. In this case its a Mandroid which is a S.H.I.E.L.D. issue armor that was designed by Tony Stark (Iron Man).
This year Marvel Studios is releasing a major motion picture with their creations “The Guardians Of The Galaxy” and while I am still on the fence about this particular film based on the trailer, this post is about the incredibly detailed action figures that will be coming out care of Hasbro Toys as they continue the Marvel Infinite Legends Series. I’ll keep it brief and let the photos do the talking and then offer up my thoughts at the close about this line.
Longtime readers know how PiercingMetal has been attending and covering the Toy Fair since 2011 and bringing them the latest scoop on the coolness that falls right into our interest wheelhouse. Sadly, the Hasbro Show Room is offsite at this event and we did not get to go there but we did get some access to press provided images on several lines that I liked the most from this line. The photos do not show the figures in the packaging which is alright and they start off with “Drax The Destroyer”. Armed with a couple of knives Drax clearly means business.
