Alright, I’m down to the last of the currently running DC Comics television shows that were premiering this week. “Arrow” begins its sixth season this evening, so below you will find the dramatic season poster along with some previous season recap and casting. I’ll close out with where I am at with the show at this point as well when we close up.
Season Five Recap: In season five, Oliver trains young heroes Wild Dog, Mister Terrific, Artemis, and Ragman to join him in his war on crime following Laurel’s death and Thea’s resignation. He subsequently recruits a new Black Canary as well: metahuman vigilante and former police detective Dinah Drake. Supported by new allies, Oliver tries to balance vigilantism with his new role as mayor. He is also threatened by the mysterious and deadly villain Prometheus, who has a connection to Oliver’s past. In flashbacks, Oliver joins the Bratva in Russia as part of an plot to assassinate Konstantin Kovar. There, he meets and is trained by one of Ra’s al Ghul’s daughters, Talia al Ghul, as a hooded archer, before eventually returning to Lian Yu. Alright so the Comic Con International: San Diego was just this past weekend and as expected offered up a wealth of trailers for films and television shows that we fill up the DVR with. Since I blasted so many in our direction yesterday I’ve decided that with all of The CW Television Network series to offer them up one per day alongside our regularly posting music content. Otherwise it will be too much television in a row and I like to mix it up. That said, here is the Official Trailer for “Arrow” Season Six.
Stephen Amell portrays Oliver Queen/The Arrow/Green Arrow
Katie Cassidy portrays Dinah Laurel Lance/Black Canary/Black Siren
David Ramsey portrays John Diggle/Spartan
Willa Holland portrays Thea Queen/Speedy
Paul Blackthorne portrays Detective Quentin Lance
Emily Bett Rickards portrays Felicity Smoak/Overwatch
Manu Bennett portrays Slade Wilson/Deathstroke

Hey there my fiends, I’m glad to see you back here again as I continue along into the visual findings from the 2016 NY Comic Con. I’m still on the “Day Two” stuff and up to our third chapter of the presentation. That brings us to the 8th in total so far and since I have to look more into the other days folders I cannot discern how many we shall end up doing when its all said and done. If you’re just joining the program of presentations, may I suggest that you click on THIS LINK first since it will bring you a rundown of all the chapters that have been posted before this one. I find that it’s always best to start this adventure from the beginning and as new chapter get added they will present here as well. Let’s get this geeking out party started!!! I’ll be chiming in every now and then but not all the time. I’m talked out 🙂
Hey there my friends and traveler’s to the fantasy world of Middle Earth, today is the day that the second chapter of “The Hobbit Trilogy” opens up in theaters everywhere. As with the first chapter “An Unexpected Journey” the film was produced and directed by Peter Jackson, the man behind the incredibly successful “Lord Of The Rings” trilogy. I loved those films and happily added them to my collection when they became available. Now you might remember that I had some reservations about the single book story being expanded into three films but oh well. Believe it or not I have not yet seen the first chapter and by the looks of it, I think I will be waiting for all three to be out so I can binge on them like I do with any number of series on Netflix. Are you excited about the story so far? How fast will you see it? I welcome all comments but please don’t put any spoilers in for those who hate that stuff. Check your aim, draw back your bow and let the arrow fly…….I’m sorry I just made that up since I felt I needed something but tonight is the night that the second season of the CW Networks own series “Arrow” begins. The show follows the adventures of Oliver Queen, who comic book fans know better as The Green Arrow but for this show he is simply called “Arrow”. Check out the cool poster for S2.
