Sony Animation: “Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse” Official Trailer #2

It was only a few months ago that we got the first official trailer for “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” and with NY Comic Con right around the corner, I expect a second clip to manifest during the event. Fortunately, fans of the Miles Morales Spidey will not have to wait that long as the second official trailer has been released and is presented to you down below. Let’s watch…

Sony Animation: “Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse” Teaser Trailer

Though the excitement about films is pretty much relegated to the Friday opening of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”, it was cool to see the Official Teaser Trailer for the 2018 animated film “Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse” which comes care of Sony Pictures animation division. Check out yon teaser below and then I’ll add in some editorial thoughts.

The Premise: In the “classic Spider-Man mold”, Miles Morales must juggle his high school life with his status as a Superhero.[2]

The Cast:
Shameik Moore as Miles Morales/Spider-Man
Liev Schreiber
Mahershala Ali as Aaron Davis/Prowler
Brian Tyree Henry as Jefferson Davis

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Based on the characters popularity, its nice to see Miles Morales making his way to the big screen even if its first being done as an animated feature. One has to think that by doing it in this fashion that Sony Pictures will also deliver the mega-popular Spider-Gwen and perhaps even the futuristic Spider-Man 2099. The opportunities are endless with the Spider-verse despite is not being connected to Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe. I am okay with that as long as we can keep on using the traditional Peter Parker Spider-Man. Since I don’t say much about teaser trailers, I will close out with that this looks promising and that is because the animation can be so spot on nowadays based on the technology. Let’s just hope for a solid story. I’ll add more on this when a longer full trailer comes to light and to leave you with some material, below are some links to Miles Morales Spider-Man items. Let me know if you liked the teaser down in the comments below.

Some New “Luke Cage” Character Posters Are Revealed

So we are closing in on the Netflix premiere of the next Marvel Comics action hero with “Luke Cage”; the show follows “Jessica Jones” and the first season of “Daredevil” and if you’ve not seen either of those yet, watch them first since it will build a continuity for you. While we did meet Cage in “Jessica Jones”, this is his first full on go as a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That said, a few character posters have been released in advance of the series. Since we love bringing those to your attention here they are.

The Premise:
When a sabotaged experiment gives him super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive attempting to rebuild his life in Harlem and must soon confront his past and fight a battle for the heart of his city.
