Hey there my fiends, I’m glad to see you back here again as I continue along into the visual findings from the 2016 NY Comic Con. I’m still on the “Day Two” stuff and up to our third chapter of the presentation. That brings us to the 8th in total so far and since I have to look more into the other days folders I cannot discern how many we shall end up doing when its all said and done. If you’re just joining the program of presentations, may I suggest that you click on THIS LINK first since it will bring you a rundown of all the chapters that have been posted before this one. I find that it’s always best to start this adventure from the beginning and as new chapter get added they will present here as well. Let’s get this geeking out party started!!! I’ll be chiming in every now and then but not all the time. I’m talked out 🙂
Greetings my dear readers and welcome back to our series of posts from the 2015 NY Comic Con. For those who are just joining us, you have arrived at the final chapter of the Day Three visuals that were collected from the adventure. What a blast its been so far (as we’ve been to the event for three days in a row already) and there will still be the Day Four stuff that will begin tomorrow. I’ll start off this post with a very special bunch of photos that are celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the NYFD. This anniversary was done in part by the FDNY Foundation and ReedPop who partnered with Marvel Comics to celebrate the real heroes of the NYFD and EMS. All of the helmets were on display and were going to be auctioned off. Talk about your one of a kind art. Take a look. My favorite is this first one with Iron Man.
Welcome back friends and here we are with yet another exciting look inside the 2015 NY Comic Con over at the Javits Center. As you can see by the title of the post, I’m up to the second chapter of the Day Two adventuring and as stated in the bunch of posts that preceded this one, will be offering up the next fifty images for your viewing pleasure. This posting is mostly the wonderful cosplayers and you should know the characters they are portraying by now. Here we go:
Good afternoon my readers of the PiercingMetal way it be I am glad that you have stopped by once again because its always a grand pleasure to see you here on our website. As you already know we are deep in the throes of the NY Comic Con for 2014 and have been serializing our coverage into numerous chapters to give you a better experience. This is Day Three of the madness and I will begin outside in one of the parking areas since they had these giant inflatable balloons that looked like The Teen Titans from the animated show. Have you ever caught that program? Its rather good and makes me wonder if we shall ever see a big screen live action version of this team. Who knows but here we go again into the fray. Who’s with me?
Greetings and felicitations my friends, I am back with the final chapter of my 2013 NY Comic Con explorations. It’s been some glorious fun presenting our photographic findings to you for the past few days but with this installment that presentation will come to an end until next year’s convention. It was very weird being one of the huddled masses instead of the working press this time around but as I stressed in an earlier chapter, no one is prevented from bringing a camera along with them to the convention and if you are polite the cosplayers are very accomodating. The hardest part I had was making any new engagements with professionals since some of them just didn’t believe me to be the scribe that I am. Oh well, more time to focus on the ones who know the outlet and appreciate our taking time to focus on them. This final chapter is MOSTLY cosplay and since the characters are pretty easy to figure out there will be limited narrative from me. I’m beyond tired at this point but here we go.
