Just a few short days ago, the Disney+ Streaming Service launched and delivered the first episode of the highly anticipated series “The Mandalorian”. With such a series launch its logical to expert a wide array of toys and collectibles to speak of and while we’ve already seen the action figure of the “The Mandalorian” from Hasbro, its time to see what amounts to the first building set from the folks over at LEGO. Let’s take a look.
Excite any LEGO® builder or fan with this 75254 Star Wars™ AT-ST Raider vehicle. This brick-built Star Wars construction toy features the same cannibalized look of the walker from the hit Star Wars TV series, The Mandalorian, including jointed posable legs, a turning turret that opens up to reveal a detailed interior with space to sit a minifigure, plus 2 firing shooters. The set also includes Star Wars characters The Mandalorian, Cara Dune and 2 Klatooinian Raider minifigures to really get the action going.
Hello again my friends and welcome to something awesome. Now, you might recall my mentioning that I’ve been in attendance at the Toy Insider’s events for the last few years and while we ran into them all at the annual Toy Fair, the last media happening was with their 2018 “Holiday Of Play” (documented HERE in case you missed it). Now that the summer was here it was time for their biggest soiree the “Sweet Suite” which was once again being held at Chelsea Piers #60. This marks my fourth straight Sweet Suite event and while the larger group of products I see will be featured on “The Chronicles Of Piercing Ken”, all of the Pop Culture geek stuff will be presented here. Let’s take a look shall we. First up were a whole bunch of awesome cosplayers. I believe this crew referred to themselves as “The New York Avengers” and I don’t think that I need to name the heroes and villains represented here.
We’re cooking with gas now with the SDCC only two short days away and no, I am still NOT going to be in attendance. I will need to live vicariously through those of you who are going and through the press releases that numerous reps keep sending me to post. Items like this awesome news about a lifesize Iron Man from “Avengers: Endgame”. Check it out.
