If you’re a fan of either Killswitch Engage or Parkway Drive then have I got an early Christmas present for the fans who go crazy at their shows. The pair of bands have recently announced a co-headlining tour on Facebook and the brief notice is below. Dig in.
The Facebook Post:
The rumors are true! 2019 will bring you the #CollapseTheWorld co-headline tour featuring full headlining sets by KSE and Parkway Drive and special guests After The Burial, presented by REVOLVER Magazine.
We don’t often broadcast any European jaunts here on PiercingMetal.com but hey, this is Iron Maiden we are talking about so exceptions can be easily made. The band has recently unveiled their 2018 plans for Europe on a tour called “Legacy Of The Beast”. This will feature the guys in Killswitch Engage as direct support. Check out the poster and the dates if you are over on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. Perhaps you feel like a road trip of some kind. Either way its great to find the band still pressing forward because many of our favorites have decided to retire or embark on “Farewell Tours” like Ozzy Osbourne lined out a few days ago. We shared that news on THIS LINK. You can check that out after you read about the Maiden tour though since this is their post after all.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’d love to have the means of jet-setting around the globe to see one of my favorite bands but alas reality…….it would be so cool to see the band in some of these places that I have always wanted to see and haven’t been to yet. Since the book is closed on the “Book Of Souls” touring, I’m of the mindset that this next go round will be one of those shows that is loaded with classics and very limited on new material. In the states those tours are the most well-received even if the band always sells out on their appearances. I think people over here just like to bitch on their Facebook about how disappointed they were in the set list. You know what I am talking about but hey, it’s Maidens show and they are allowed to deliver whatever they feel like delivering. I really enjoyed the “Book Of Souls” album and said so on THIS LINK if you have never seen our overview. The band will be releasing a live release from this tour very soon and the second issue of their first ever comic book should be hitting the stands as well. I still need to get my hands on a copy of that one. So what do you folks over on the other side of the water think about this tour? You can let me know down in the comments section below. I will be crossing my fingers that a North American run will be mapped out and revealed once 2018 gets underway. Until next time.
