The wait is over and the third chapter in “The Hobbit” trilogy is finally here and to be enjoyed with “The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies”; Check out the dramatic poster below.
The Premise: “The Battle Of The Five Armies” picks up where “The Desolation Of Smaug” left off and continues Bilbo’s adventures with the Dwarves as they seek to regain their kingdom and stave off the onslaught of ravaging Orcs. Of course there is a whole lot more going on with Bilbo, Gandalf and Gollum but there is not enough space nor time for me to jot down for you kind readers here. Check out the massive cast one more time.

Hey there my friends and traveler’s to the fantasy world of Middle Earth, today is the day that the second chapter of “The Hobbit Trilogy” opens up in theaters everywhere. As with the first chapter “An Unexpected Journey” the film was produced and directed by Peter Jackson, the man behind the incredibly successful “Lord Of The Rings” trilogy. I loved those films and happily added them to my collection when they became available. Now you might remember that I had some reservations about the single book story being expanded into three films but oh well. Believe it or not I have not yet seen the first chapter and by the looks of it, I think I will be waiting for all three to be out so I can binge on them like I do with any number of series on Netflix. Are you excited about the story so far? How fast will you see it? I welcome all comments but please don’t put any spoilers in for those who hate that stuff.

Back in 2001, director Peter Jackson adapted and assembled the epic adventure by J.R.R. Tolkien called “The Lord Of The Rings”. This was a massive three book tale and lucky for all its fans, each book would get its own film and flow seemlessly into each other since many parts were shot at the very beginning. Years after the celebrated films had run their course the world wondered if Jackson would approach the story that began the whole thing in 1937 “The Hobbit” and lucky for us – he did. Of course this story would also be broken up into three chapters and while I am not too keen on that (since it was only one book in the first place) I will sit back and let Mr. Jackson entertain me. That being said, this film opens up today and here is a rundown of the cast. Will you be seeing this film? I know that I plan to as soon as possible and I ask should any of you early viewers do so, that you please do not post spoilers. Yes I read the book but still, you know what I mean.
