The fine folks at Disney held their Investors Call and during this happening, we found the Marvel Studios powers that be announcing what amounts to be an incredible slate. I was following along as best as possible with the social networking posts and have shared their images and copy for your consumption.

Captain Marvel 2: Brie Larson returns as Carol Danvers in Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel 2, directed by Nia DaCosta. Joining the cast are recently announced Ms. Marvel, Iman Vellani, and Monica Rambeau played by WandaVision’s Teyonah Parris. Captain Marvel 2 flies into theaters Nov. 11, 2022

Hawkeye: Original Avenger Jeremy Renner returns to star as Hawkeye, teaming up with well-known archer from Marvel comics, Kate Bishop played by the amazing Hailee Steinfeld. Additional cast include Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez with episodes directed by Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert and Bertie. Hawkeye, an Original Series, is coming to #DisneyPlus 🏹

IDW Publishing Announces: “Marvel Action: Chillers” For Halloween

Written by Jeremy Whitley (Unstoppable Wasp), the bi-weekly Chillers miniseries debuts in October and runs for four issues, each one featuring a framing story starring Doctor Strange and Ironheart, with a second tale focusing on spooky adventures involving Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, monster hunter Elsa Bloodstone, and more! Contributing artists for the series include Ahmara Smith, Bowen McCurdy, and Bill Underwood, and Sweeney Boo, the fan-favorite artist of Marvel Action: Captain Marvel, will provide the covers for all four issues.

Marvel Comics First Issues Coming November 2018

Okay comic book fans, Halloween is OVER and now it’s time to get onto planning for the next holiday which is Thanksgiving despite the fact that all of the Christmas decorations have made their appearance on store shelves everywhere. This month is a banger of a month in terms of the Marvel Comics first issue output. There are more than a dozen new beginnings hitting the racks and while many of them are mini-series, its enough to find you negotiating more hours from your boss or better budgeting if you are one of our regular concert going readers. Let’s take a look at these first go-rounds thanks to Marvel press provisions and please be mindful that many will have variant covers to purchase if such things make your collection better for you. Here we go.

Marvel Announces Ongoing “Ironheart” Series For November

Dedicated comic book readers will likely remember Riri Williams donning a suit of armor after the events of “Civil War II” and now she gets the chance to shine in a title of her own as “Ironheart”. Check out the press release and provided images from Marvel Comics PR.

Announced today on The Chicago Tribune and Marvel.com, Riri’s new story will bring out her hometown roots with Eve L. Ewing at the helm, as the award-winning author of Electric Arches makes her Marvel debut! A poet, scholar and artist whose work has appeared in the New York Times and The Atlantic, Eve will be joined on the series by Champions artist Kevin Libranda.
