Hey did you miss me? You had to know that I would be coming back with a quick summary about this evenings third season premiere of “Legends Of Tomorrow” which will air immediately after tonight’s episode of “The Flash” which has its own fourth season premiere and was discussed on THIS LINK if you missed it. If there is one thing that the New York Comic Con leaves us fans with, its a bevy of shows that are right up our alley. Down below you will see the “OFFICIAL POSTER” and I’ve snagged some Season 2 refresher and casting for you before tossing in my own thoughts on the matter. Here we go.
Season 2 Recap: In season two, with the Time Masters defeated, the team are left to guard the timeline themselves, and learn to cope in Rip’s absence after he disappears. However, they are continually plagued by the Legion of Doom, a time-travelling supervillain team led by Reverse Flash (Eobard Thawne), who has recruited past versions of Damien Darhk, Malcolm Merlyn, and Leonard Snart to help him find the Spear of Destiny of Biblical fame, with which they can rewrite their fates. The team is joined by new members Amaya Jiwe / Vixen, an African superhero from 1940s superhero team the Justice Society of America, and Nate Heywood / Steel, a modern-day historian with the power to become solid metal. I’m continuing along with the trailer reveals by The CW Television Network that came care of last weeks Comic Con International: San Diego or “SDCC”. There were quite a few of them so it was better to give you one per day alongside the other posts that are set to go online. To say that I’ve got my DVR running overtime with all of the shows that feature the colorful DC Comics characters would be an understatement. Let’s see, I think that I am recording five from The CW alone and there are more on other networks as well. I’m up to “Legends Of Tomorrow” which will begin its third season this October and is the final show in the Arrowverse as we know it. Check it out.

If you enjoyed the first web-series for “Vixen” then you should get excited since the CW Seed is giving her a second one and it is now available on the website. These are short vignettes of course and the first one in full was about thirty minutes. Take a look at the official poster for the new season along with some reminder premise and casting. I’ll toss some thoughts in to close us out later on.
The Premise: After her parents were killed in Africa by local corruption, Mari McCabe inherits her family’s Tantu Totem, gaining the powers of the animal kingdom, using them to fight as Vixen to stop threats like those that claimed her family.
If you’ve been following the small screen adventures of DC Comics’ “Arrow” and “The Flash” over on the CW Network then I have some exciting news for you as a brand new spinoff series is coming at us entitled “Legends Of Tomorrow” and will air sometime in the Fall of 2015. Take a look at the sneak peak video that was released yesterday along with the brief premise and characters that you can expect to see on the screen.
