Netflix Presents: “Stranger Things” 4 “From Russia With Love”

It’s Valentine’s Day sure so hopefully some or most or all of you got your candy or flowers from a loved one. For myself and the somewhat quiet confines of the Metal Media Command HQ, we were waiting on the treat of new music and trailer clips such as this one from Netflix, as “Stranger Things” continue with a Season 4 teaser. Take a look.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Not much to see here since it’s merely a teaser so I will hold all my thoughts until the full on trailer gets a reveal. See you then on this topic but super soon for the everything else on our plate.

Sony Pictures: “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” Official Trailer

The time has come to return to the time of the Ghostbusters, a crackshot team who protected Earth from the denizens in the deceased and supernatural. Of course, with the team disbanded and unaccounted for I ask you this my friends. “Who you gonna call?” – The answer can be found in this first Official Trailer for the new film.

The Premise: A single mother and her two children move to Oklahoma after inheriting property from a previously unknown relative. They discover their family’s legacy to the original Ghostbusters, who have become something of a myth as many have long-since forgotten the events of the “Manhattan Crossrip of 1984”.

The Cast/Characters:
Mckenna Grace as Phoebe
Finn Wolfhard as Trevor
Carrie Coon as Callie
Paul Rudd as Mr. Grooberson
Logan Kim as Phoebe’s classmate
Celeste O’Connor
Bokeem Woodbine as Sheriff Domingo
Oliver Cooper
Bill Murray as Dr. Peter Venkman
Dan Aykroyd as Dr. Raymond “Ray” Stantz
Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddemore
Sigourney Weaver as Dana Barrett
Annie Potts as Janine Melnitz

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I truly loved the first “Ghostbusters” film, enjoyed the second installment for the most part and like so very many of you, never even bothered with the redo of the franchise from a couple of years ago. That being said I was curious as to how this new movie might be and when it proved to be a many years later continuation of what we all enjoyed I was game. The idea of the family members of the famous team who long since retired brings some appeal to the front and with the young cast can “Stranger Things” be a good comparison. I liked what I saw here and look forward to more reveals. Though the summer of 2020 is far away, I will likely be sitting in the local theater for this one. What did you think? Chime in down below in the comments.
